If Zenaida wanted to, she could even marry the guy who confessed to her, right now.
Who would care about that anyway?
Her business is none of his business.
He shouldn't have ask those questions from her since the beginning. Why would he even ask them in the first place? He isn't the type to care about the others matters at all.
Carl wasn't able to understand the meaning of his own behaviour awhile ago.
Actually, what is wrong with him?
Zenaida noticed the grimness on Carl's face and she felt that Carl is being displeased about something. She worried that it was because of her, eventhough she couldn't understand what she has done wrongly.
She wanted to say something to explain it more but before she could say anything else, Carl said to Zenaida in a sarcastic manner.
" It's ok for you to not to tell me about your private matters and it's my fault for asking something like that from you in the first place. We aren't close that much anyway to talk about this kind of thing with each other. "
Zenaida was taken aback by the sudden words of Carl and she felt that Carl is definitely being pissed off by her for sure. She couldn't understand why and she didn't expect things to turned out this way at all.
How is she going to fix this with Carl?
Should she ask him directly that why is he acting this way and has she wronged him in anyway?
Or
Should she say sorry to him without asking anything else?
Second method seems to be more effective than the first one according to the Zenaida's point of view. he decided to say sorry to Carl without making the situation any worse than this.
But before Zenaida could say anything to Carl, Roy appeared behind Carl out of nowhere while asking "Carl, have you finished your meal?"
After saying that, Roy noticed the almost untouched food tray of Carl and asked "Didn't you come here a minutes ago? Why haven't you even touched your meal? Were you doing something else?"
Carl got up from his seat while saying to Roy in a little bit pissed off voice " I have lost my appetite. So, I'm not going to eat today."
Roy felt the change of his friend's voice right away and he immediately looked at Carl's face. He noticed the slight anger on the Carl's face.
Is he pissed off by something?
But what has the capability to take a reaction out of his friend like this?
What must be it?
His friend is like a rock and it is almost impossible to see a change of expression on his face. He would always bear a neutral expression on his face no matter what happened or no matter who he is facing.
He doesn't care about anything around him at all.
Roy is sure that his friend would bear his usual neutral expression on his face, even in front of the grim reaper. Even grim reaper would make a surprised face by seeing Carl's calmnes in front of his own death.
Roy really doesn't understand how could this kind of person exist in real life. Even more to that how could someone live in this way almost everyday. Roy is very well aware of the reason behind the Carl's this kind of behaviour. He is really pitying Carl about it.
Today it seems that his friend is somehow pissed off by something. Eventhough he shouldn't be happy in his friend's misery, Roy couldn't stop himself from being little bit excited by this.
How could he miss this kind of chance to tease Carl a little bit?
Roy waited for Carl to return back after putting away his food tray. While waiting, he noticed Zenaida who was sitting in front of the seat which Carl was sitting awhile ago.
After noticing Zenaida, small grin appeared on the face of Roy.
So, this is it.
It was difficult for Roy to find Carl when he entered the cafeteria first to search for him. He was only looking at less crowded places and surprisingly, he found out that Carl was sitting at a table which was crowded with students.
He was wondering at that moment why was Carl sitting at a table which was filled with many girls ,instead of sitting alone like he is always used to sit at the cafeteria in the other days with him.
