Over the past thirty years, the Watcher's Association's decline had become more evident day by day, and now, an Evil God had them cornered right at their doorstep.
A divine war was on the brink of breaking out.
Perhaps in the next second, the Evil God would descend upon the War Fortress and spread corruption without restraint.
Once the divine war erupted, anyone who had not managed to retreat would turn to ashes under the might of the gods; it was as if the Sword of Damocles hung over everyone's neck, its chilling presence palpable.
No one knew when the sword would fall.
"The spread of the Purple Mist is too fast!"
Wang Ran exclaimed.
When he last visited, there was a large clean area between the War Fortress and the Purple Mist Zone. In just over thirty years, the Purple Mist had overwhelmed the Watcher's Association's offenses and swallowed up the area.
There was no buffer zone left between the two sides.
