The tales of dispair

An Unknown tragedy has befallen the world and ended countless lives. No one is safe and anyone could be killed at any moment. Everyone knows stories of magic and monsters, and this story is similar, with my own twists. Things aren't as they seem, and no one, not even the main cast is safe with plot armor. How can a cafe worker fight monsters in this world, it's not as easy as some stories tell. This story is focused more on realistic characters and science than your typical novel. Oh, and it's not just the obvious that could kill you....
