When she arrived at the bar, she saw that Arthur had already ordered a bottle of red wine. He stood up to greet her, and she noticed that he had changed a lot since middle school. He was now tall, lean and muscular, with a chiseled jawline and sparkling green eyes.
As they started talking, Sarang realized that Arthur was incredibly charming and funny. She found herself laughing at all his jokes and soon felt herself becoming more and more attracted to him. She thought that getting him drunk might make it easier for her to extract information about Michael's death, so she suggested they order another bottle of wine.
As the night went on, Sarang found herself becoming more and more tipsy. She couldn't believe how easily Arthur had gotten her to open up to him. She felt like she had known him forever.
"You're beautiful, Sarang," Arthur said, leaning in closer to her. "I've always had a crush on you."
Sarang blushed, feeling a warmth spread through her body. She had never expected Arthur to be interested in her.
"Really?" she said, feeling her heart race. "I never knew."
Arthur took her hand and gently kissed it. "You're the most beautiful woman I've ever met," he said, looking deep into her eyes.
Sarang felt herself melting under his gaze. She couldn't believe that this man, who she had always thought was out of her league, was now making her feel so special.
The next thing she knew, they were back at Arthur's apartment. He poured them both another glass of wine and they sat on the couch, talking and laughing together.
As the night wore on, Sarang found herself becoming more and more intoxicated. She couldn't believe how easily Arthur was able to make her feel so relaxed and carefree.
Before she knew it, Arthur was leaning in to kiss her. Sarang felt a jolt of electricity shoot through her body as his lips touched hers. She felt herself responding, kissing him back with increasing passion.
The next thing she knew, they were both undressing each other, their bodies entwined in a passionate embrace. Sarang felt herself succumbing to her desires, her inhibitions stripped away by the heady combination of alcohol and lust.
They had sex, and Sarang was surprised at how good it felt. She had never felt so alive and free before.
Sarang's mind was hazy, but she could remember fragments of the night before. She opened her eyes and saw a bare chest with a few scattered chest hairs on it. She remembered how she had kissed that chest and run her hands over it. She slowly turned her head and saw that it was Arthur. The memories of the previous night flooded her mind. She gasped and tried to pull away, but he held her tighter.
"Good morning, Sarang," he said, planting a soft kiss on her forehead.
"Morning…" she muttered, her eyes still blurry. She pulled the sheets up to her chest and tried to collect her thoughts. She realized what had happened between them and felt a deep sense of regret.
"I shouldn't have done that," she said, avoiding his gaze.
"Why not?" Arthur asked, rubbing his hand over her arm.
"I just… I can't believe I did that. It was a mistake," Sarang replied.
Arthur looked hurt, but he tried to hide it with a smile. "Okay, I understand."
Srang quickly got dressed and left the room, feeling embarrassed and ashamed. She couldn't believe that she had slept with her classmate, the man she was supposed to be investigating.
As she made her way to the door, she realized that she had no idea what to do next. She still needed to find out what had happened to Michael, but now she had a new problem to deal with.
Sarang knew that she couldn't let Arthur get in the way of her investigation. She was determined to find out what had happened to Michael and make things right. She just needed to figure out how to do it without getting too close to Arthur again.
The memories of their night together kept replaying in her mind, and she knew she had to put them aside and focus on the task at hand. She made her way back home, still feeling confused and conflicted about what had happened.
As she sat down at her desk, she felt a wave of guilt wash over her. She had let her emotions get the best of her, and now she had to face the consequences. She picked up her laptop and started going through the information she had on Michael's case.
She knew that she had to be careful with Arthur, but she couldn't stop thinking about him. She wondered if he felt the same way about her.
Sarang decided to call Arthur and see if he wanted to meet up again. She wanted to talk to him and find out more about his relationship with Michael. She hoped that he would be able to give her some information that could help her solve the case.
"Hey, Arthur," she said, trying to sound casual. "Do you want to meet up tonight?"
"Sure," he replied. "Where do you want to go?"
"Let's go to the same bar as last night," she said, feeling a little embarrassed.
"Okay, I'll be there," he said, hanging up the phone.
Sarang knew that she was taking a risk by meeting Arthur again, but she felt like she had no other choice. She needed to find out what had happened to Michael, and she hoped that Arthur could help her.
As she got ready for her date, she felt a sense of excitement mixed with nervousness. She knew that she had to be careful, but she couldn't help feeling drawn to Arthur. She wondered if he felt the same way about her.
