Chapter 7 - Chapter 6: The girl who spat frogs

There was a girl in the school who had a strange curse. She would often spit out frogs from her mouth, and nobody knew why.

The girl's name was Ayumi, and she had been suffering from this curse for many years. It started when she was in elementary school, and she had no idea how it happened. She had never seen a doctor or a specialist who could explain the phenomenon. The frogs that came out of her mouth were alive, and they would hop around for a while before disappearing. It was a strange and disturbing thing to witness, and Ayumi had become the subject of ridicule and bullying among her peers.

Ayumi's parents had tried everything to help their daughter, but nothing worked. They took her to several doctors, but none of them could find a medical reason for the curse. They consulted with spiritual leaders, but no one could explain the phenomenon. Ayumi had resigned herself to living with the curse, and she tried to ignore the stares and whispers from her classmates.

One day, Ayumi didn't come to school. Her parents had found her in her room, dead by suicide. She had left a note that simply read, "I can't take it anymore." Her parents were devastated, and the whole school was in shock.

After Ayumi's death, strange things started happening at Good Hills High. Students reported hearing strange croaking noises in the hallways, and some claimed to have seen frogs hopping around. Many of the students started getting sick, with symptoms like fever and vomiting. The school's staff couldn't figure out what was going on, but some of the students whispered that it was Ayumi's curse taking revenge on the school.

The school's principal, Mr. Nakamura, was at a loss. He didn't know what to do to stop the strange occurrences at the school. One day, he received a visit from an old woman who claimed to know the truth about Ayumi's curse. The old woman explained that Ayumi's curse was the result of a powerful curse that had been placed on her family many generations ago. The curse was a result of some wrongdoing that had been committed by her ancestors, and it had been passed down through the generations until it finally landed on Ayumi.

The old woman told Mr. Nakamura that the only way to break the curse was to cremate Ayumi's body and scatter her ashes in a special ritual. However, there was one problem. Ayumi's body had been buried in a secret location, far away from the school. Nobody knew where it was, and Ayumi's parents had taken the secret to their graves.

Mr. Nakamura knew that he had to do something to stop the curse from wreaking havoc on the school. He gathered a group of volunteers and set out to find Ayumi's grave. They searched for days, combing the countryside around the school, but they couldn't find it.

As the days passed, the situation at Good Hills High grew worse. More and more students were getting sick, and some had to be hospitalized. The staff was desperate for a solution, and some even suggested that they should close down the school until the curse was broken.

One night, Mr. Nakamura had a dream. In the dream, Ayumi appeared to him and told him where her body was buried. She begged him to break the curse so that no one else would have to suffer like she did.

The next morning, Mr. Nakamura woke up with a sense of purpose. He gathered the volunteers once again and told them about

his dream. They set out to the location that Ayumi had revealed to him and began digging. After hours of searching, they finally found Ayumi's grave.

The group performed the special ritual as instructed by the old woman, cremating Ayumi's body and scattering her ashes in a nearby river. As they completed the ritual, they felt a sense of peace come over them. It was as if the curse had been lifted.

The next day, when the students arrived at Good Hills High, they noticed that something was different. The school felt lighter, and the air felt fresher. They no longer heard the strange croaking noises in the hallways, and the frogs were nowhere to be found. The sick students began to recover, and there were no new cases reported.

Mr. Nakamura held a school-wide assembly and explained to the students what had happened. He urged them to remember Ayumi and to be kind to each other. He emphasized that they must never forget what had happened and to always look out for each other.

Years passed, and the legend of Ayumi's curse became a distant memory. But every now and then, students would gather around during lunch breaks and talk about the strange events that had happened at Good Hills High. Some of them claimed to have seen Ayumi's ghost wandering the halls, but most dismissed it as a silly rumor.

Despite the time that had passed, Mr. Nakamura never forgot Ayumi's story. He would often visit the river where her ashes had been scattered and pay his respects. He knew that Ayumi's story would always stay with him and would remind him of the importance of compassion and understanding.

And so, the curse was broken, and the school was no longer haunted by the strange frogs that had once plagued its halls. But the memory of Ayumi and her curse remained, reminding everyone of the power of kindness and the importance of looking out for one another.
