" hello pa!" for the first time no! second time since he came to this world Colton felt very nervous as he didn't know much about his papa in this world Angel always kept his distance and their overall communications were minimal,
clutching the phone tightly in his palm his lower lips already turn red from him bitting on it too hard
" Angel? thank goodness you picked your phone today! what's the hell's going on baby?" a gentle yet scolding voice rang out from the phone Colton felt the sweat on his forehead drop although he didn't know much about his family there was one thing everyone in the capital knew, his papa might sound gentle but infact he was really very crazy when provoked there was a time he beat a lady in a party with a bouquet of flowers because she tried to seduce his husband, damn! he literally flogged her like a kid in front of everyone with the flowers that the poor girl gave his husband then dragged his husband by the ear out of the hall after that night the name ' Gilbert family's crazy missy' was known by everyone in the upper class circle and no one dared mess with him ,
" I'm fine pa" Colton said wiping the sweat from his face " really? nothing wrong? did you even check your phone , and that video I just watched it- it was you right?" his mouth opened to answer but he closed it back and moved to check what the man was talking about ignoring the nagging,
the result almost made him laugh! the advertisement video had become the most trending on the internet with many #tags about about him that made his lips twitched in amusement as crimson colored eyes darkened mischievously , as he read the comments he couldn't help but giggle when he stumbled upon some comments of his fans with some aggrieved while some were pairing them together, weirdly enough there weren't much hate comment which made him think of that man
"what are you giggling for? are you even listening to me?! " immediately clamping his mouth shut he returned the phone to his ear
" um yes pa! haha "
" I'm serious Angel! that man is no good at all ! am sure there are people more nicer to choose out there! don't do this, listen if you're done with the industry's drama you can just come back home I have enough money to spoil you for a life time!" Colton looked at the phone in surprise, seriously? that was what the man had to say? " um..... pa - you're not angry?" he asked unsure
" why should I be?" the voice at the end of the phone made Colton imagine a face scrunched up in confusion" um ..... what if I'm trying to ...um you know .....!"
" seduce him? tsk! if it wasn't me taking matters into my hands then how did you think that blockhead could be your father?" in other words his papa actually seduced his father into marriage? interesting! he slipped from his glass
" baby...." a gruff manly voice rang out from his phone
" pfft! " Colton spit his drink , cough! cough!
people in the restaurant turned to look at him with frowns and he had to apologize softly as he took a tissue to clean up the mess " Angel? you okay?"
" I'm fine but at least next time a warning would do?" he said with a pout " don't mind this griffon of a man okay?" Colton chuckled as he shook his head the ' griffon ' was actually his father, he could hear his papa shushing and his father's distant whining " dad's back?" he asked that man was supposed to be on a business trip!
" yeah he came back today" his papa said " what's up Angie?" he heard his dad's voice and smiled " hi dad! how you doing?" he asked " I'm really not fine at all! your papa's been bullying me since i came back home!" his dad's aggrieved voice rang out making Angel laugh this couple was literally something else! "Angel come home tomorrow? it's been so long already since you came home " his papa said " okay pa I'll drop by tomorrow!" Colton said he already loved this papa of his and couldn't wait to see him and a certain wild puppy of a father he had " perfect! and don't forget what I said that man is no good at all!" he's your boss okay? Colton thought as he shook his head with a smile on his face " pa you don't have to worry about me I'd be careful!" he said " whatever then , that man should consider himself lucky if he entered your eyes, bye see ya!"
" see ya pa!" he chuckled and the call was disconnected, Colton continued sipping his drink he wondered why Cyrus wasn't back but he didn't think much of it he called a waiter to order some food it wasn't that he was hungry he just wanted to eat as much as he can before Cyrus came to nag him about getting ' fat ' ugh! he just didn't want to hear!
Meanwhile, Cyrus was seen standing with his hands on his waist as he glared at a man that was quite taller and more muscular than him , his cheeks were red and puffy from anger and his eyes were teary but he didn't intend to back down , the taller man was Mark, Angel's driver! currently the supposedly stoic man had a faint smile on his face that looked completely different from what he gave to Angel this morning as he watched the man smaller than him challenged him daringly ,
" so what if he spilled a little drink on you? it was my fault and I said I'm sorry! what's the matter with you?" Cyrus 'scowled ' at Mark " and how's that your fault exactly?" Mark arched his eyebrow as he gave a side eye glance at the cowering figure of a waiter then back at the heroic figure of Cyrus as the man glared at him, his eyes shone with amusement and his lips rose into a smirk " I bumped into him! doesn't that make it my fault that he accidentally spilled the drinks on your jacket?" Cyrus wanted to slap some sense into this unreasonable man in front of him, Mark always acted like a professional in front of Angel but he'd ever known this man as a complete dick! since the first day they met Mark would find trouble with him which always annoys the hell out of him!
" he was the one who bumped into you! right Mr?" Mark smiled at the waiter " i-im r-really sorry sire! I spilled the drinks on you because I bumped into this kind sire here , I'm really sorry!" the boy pressed his huge framed glasses that had been hanging on his nose as he timidly said " see that wasn't so hard? and what are you doing with this glasses ? are you a professor or an upcoming scientist?" he removed the glasses from the guy and stated joking about it , Cyrus huffed as he walked off with hurried footsteps " I swear Angel would know about this!" he said " wait! ha I was only joking with him ! here take it back" Mark smiled as he gently put the glasses backed on the waiter " see? I gave him back Cyrus!" he chased after the smaller man that wouldn't stop walking
immediately they were out of sight the waiter wiped the sweat off of his face and place his hands on his beating heart it seems like to him he just survived a deadly battle!
Cyrus angrily walked back to where Angel was but he noticed something weird about the place as he walked closer more and more people giggled while focused on a particular place as soon as he reached the sight in front of him shocked him to the core!
Angel was sitting down okay? that's how he left him but the fact that there were many kinds of dishes scattered across the table while Angel would eat and even closed his eyes to savour it even more sometimes he would do a small dance as he eat his cat also sat beside him eating too with it's tail swirling happily ,
" what! in da hell! is happening here! " startled both the cat and the owner looked at him with large doe like eyes as they both blinked dazedly,
" b-big brother? I was hungry" step one if you don't want to get scolded by your big brother? act cute! " you were taking so long and I was really starving" step two if you don't want to get scolded? tell him it was his fault in an indirect way! mind you if he could see through you then prepare to have the best scolding of your lifetime " I'm really sorry!" and step three? put your hands behind you look down at your shoes and apologize!
Cyrus mouth twitched, he wanted to scold him but didn't know where to start from it actually looks like he was the one bullying this little prince right now " Angel I didn't say you can't eat but .....!" raising his head Colton asked him with a sparkling eyes " so can I eat?" Cyrus sat in front of him as Mark followed " fine! you can eat but you have to promise me you're not going to ask for this next time!" Cyrus said helplessly " okay brother thank you!" Mark had returned to being the professional he was but his eyes remained amused as he saw the interaction between the two he could clearly see that the young master was messing around but remained silent, Angel looked at him and said " Mark? I thought you would be staying with the car?"
" I was but Mr Cyrus insisted I come in!" Mark replied as he looked at Cyrus that had his mouth wide open in shock because of what he just said
Liar! Cyrus thought and Mark chuckled softly, Angel didn't care about their little interaction and only wanted to start digging in before Cyrus changed his mind " okay! you can join us then I don't mind?" he smiled and started eating " brother papa said I should drop by tomorrow I hope it won't be a problem?" with his mouthful he asked Cyrus frowned but didn't comment on it " it should be you don't have any schedule tomorrow anyway it's been long since you went to see them so go" he said " thank you!" Colton smiled " little prince you should get an assistant too , you're going to be a little busy from now on and I won't be able to assist you all the time!" Cyrus said Colton thought of it too he currently didn't have any assistant while other models had more than one that's because the original deemed it unnecessary to have one " I'll think about it brother!" he nodded ,
After they were done with that he dragged the both of them to the amusement park and they were forced to play almost all the games there by the time they were done running around it was already 7: 25 in the evening and Colton was so exhausted that he immediately want to fall asleep right after he got back to his condo but the sticky sensation of sweats on his body prevented him from doing so, he showered put on his cute kitty nightwear as it was he didn't plan to go anywhere else he might as well sleep through the day and be on his best conditions tomorrow if he wanted to meet his parents,
sitting in his office Altair looked down at his phone yet again no calls from the person he was expecting, even while he was listening to those old business men with their legendary hypocritical smile his mind constantly thought of that little man, Angel before wouldn't dare look at him but now not only did he look but he also dared yet instead of anger he only felt the urge to spoil and pamper this man during the day before reaping the benefits at night! his eyes darkened and a smirk appeared on his face ' what to do? should he go visit his baby tonight?" he chuckled ' it seems his baby forgot about him already?' he stood up and to the door " sire! you have a meeting with Mr Patric by 8 .....!"
" cancel any meeting for today i have something important to do don't call me again for today if it's not about the company getting burned down!" in other words don't call me again for today! his assistant was speechless but still nodded, Altair walked into the car and the driver immediately started the car after he told him the address to his baby's condo, he had a thousand ways to get into that condo without alerting anyone so he didn't border knocking when the car stopped him in front of the building and directly got inside after dismissing his driver Altair took a deep breathe of the place that smelled closely to his baby he removed his suit jacket and entered the kitchen quietly it looked like it hadn't been used in ages!
Colton: of course that's because I only know how to cook poison and neither do the original know how to cook human food either!
Altair chuckled amusedly he folded the cuffs of his sleeves and washed his hands in the sink and rummage through the little ingredients in the fridge,
time to cook for his baby .... and of course reap some benefits tonight too!
