Madam Lee was a poor old lady widow of Mr.john.Her husband died 5 years ago leaving 3 descendents ;Karin, James, Kathy.
John was running a shop with his brother Jates.They were saving money to buy two separate homes ;one for John's family and second for Jates family. They opened a common bank account almost 15 years ago before death of John. In 2014 they succeeded to buy two simple homes and shifted there with their families.
Jates was keeping financial records of business and John was working on customers.One day Jates produced some blank documents before the John and asked him to sign these documents.
John , who was busy with customers , signed it in good faith believing it to be a document of routine work, trusting his brother.After death of John his brother Jates used that blank document as agreement to sale.When Legatees of Mr John went to court for getting succession certificate , Jates came up with claim to property of late John.
Lee who was left with three childrens having some savings of her husband also started to work at homes of other people.To encounter the false claim of Jates , she needed a lawyer.
She visited the chambers of many lawyers but they all were demanding money which Lee cannot afford.After few days she found a lawyer, Mr.Xee who agreed to be paid in installments by Lee.
Mr.Xee prepared the draft to encounter the claim of Jates.It was the time when first installment was to be paid by Lee.She got some money from owner of house where she worked and handed it over to Mr.Xee as his fee for legal assistance.
The case proceedings continued in lower courts for almost 5 years and at the end Jates won the case in lower court.Lee was saddened and quite broken by this.Lee wanted to quit here but Mr.Xee convinced her to follow the proceedings.They went for appeal in the same court and then case moved to higher court.
The case was still proceeding .Jates was also getting old and after 5 years he was not able to get possession of claimed home. One day he was traveling to his friend with his wife and Jayen, the only son.He met an accident and he losted his wife and only son.Lee and her children were were saddened at death of his wife and son.Regardless to their conflict, they decide to go to his residence for condolences.Jates was alone , mentally exhausted and he was feeling as if he had losted his ambition of life
Founding his late brother's family there he was shocked and ashamed of his act.He apologized to Lee and promised to take his claim back from the court.Lee , softhearted lady, invited him to live with them by removing harsh memories.Finally Jates took back his claim and Legatees of John got their legal share and they all started to live together happily.
