Now after we finished talking about that, let's discuss the more serious topics I wanted to talk about. Kudo, you hide behind the name Conan Edogawa. Don't you?
Yuna asked.
Yes. I took that name because of the author from Sherlock Holmes. Sir Athur Conan Doyle. Edogawa was an name I kinda just came up with. I didn't think of somebody already having that last name. I hope you don't mind.
Conan answered and Ranpo looked at him.
Oh, I do not. I'm actually honored you came up with my last name Kudo.
Ranpo replied.
Well, after all you took the right name. Edogawa was already in child times an good detective. His reputation precedes him. He has autism, so he looks with another perspective at every little detail passing his way. You could say he's built different.
Yuna said about him.
So what your trying to say is...
Conan replied after figuring out what she wanted to say, but Ranpo interrupted him. He wanted to say it.
Yes. She wants us two to work together. With me as your big brother figure. With my reputation, all over japan, everyone would figure out why an 7 year old is able to solve cases not even the police is able to solve. You don't have to worry about them getting behind your secret identity anymore.
Ranpo explained. That actually was an really good plan.
That would surely help. In many situations.
Conan said and began thinking about it. Ryu-Tana suddenly jumped into the conversation.
Say Kyoka. How are you able to solve cases without being suspected?
He asked and everyone looked at her. She just sighed for an moment.
It lays in my veins.
She said.
If it lays in the veins nobody suspects anything. Like it is with what you're trying to do with Conan. I on the other hand don't have to hide behind a new name. I took the identity of my little sister. So the ones I got the blood in my veins from, are the family I had, to begin with.
She then said. After that everyone got, again, quiet.
So, what now? Was that all you wanted to talk about? Then why the whole kidnapping thing?
Sayuri asked to, again, break the silence.
I wanted to talk about the others. Like other person knowing about your identity and informants we have inside and outside the black organization. Where do you want to start?
Yuna replied leaving Conan and Heiji kind of shocked. They didn't expect her to know that there are more who knew about the two.
Well...
Sayuri began to say.
There aren't many people knowing about it. Actually only 6 people know, to be exact. 7 if you count Heiji in.
She added and looked at Yuna.
Eh. Why would you tell them?
Conan then said and Sayuri shook her head.
Like we already talked about. We have to be as honest as possible to make this plan work.
She said and Conan immediately looked away. He knew that they had to tell them... But he just didn't want to.
If you don't take over, I'm continuing.
Sayuri said while looking at the boy by side her. After getting no response from him, she continued what she started:
1 and 2 are Shinichi's parents. They wanted to know what happend to their kid. 3 is the professor. Hiroshi Agasa. He helps us with stuff he invents. 4 is Ai Haibara. An pretty clever kid. 5 is an FBI Agent named Jodie Starling. She kinda found out on her own, even thought we never agreed, so she doesn't know for sure and 6 is Kaito Kid. He kinda found out on his own too. We never agreed too, but its different from Starling. He knows for sure and keeps calling us with our real names if nobody's around. And, if you want to be precisely, there could be two other person. One named Mary, who we suspect to be in the same shoes as us. And the other being Vermouth. What we hope isn't true.
Sayuri answered almost every little detail. But Conan looked with an hint of being confused to her. After all she didn't try telling who Ai really was, and who hid inside of Shinichi's house.
Oh? Vermouth got onto your case? Pretty interesting.
Yuna replied to Sayuri's quick description of the situation about their identity.
Now that this is over, you can tell us finally about Lillet. She's one of your informants. Isn't she?
Sayuri then said. She really was interested in her.
That's something we are still investigating. She is an valuable informant. But the strange part is. She works for two different secret services. And has at least two identities she can choose from.
Ryu-Tana said while looking at Yuna, she then continued.
Lillet introduced herself as the CIA Agent Emly Everdream to Ikano, while she introduced herself at the NSA Agent Chelsea Moore to me. But not only that. She tries to hide that she's the same person. Her hair color and her skin tone are different. Nothing to hard to be changed, still. We began thinking about it after we both said the codename Lillet. There's only one Lillet inside the organization.
Yuna said while looking into the round. She stopped as she saw to Ranpo.
You have an informant too. Just not inside of the organization. Don't you?
She asked and Ranpo laughed.
Good combined. I do have actually two informants. Jodie Starling from the FBI and Rei Furuya from the Japanese security police. Even though I'm more of an informant for him then he is for me.
Ranpo answered, letting Yuna's look switch to us.
We do have our contacts with the secret services too, but we have no informants. We more likely work with each other sometimes. The FBI, the Japanese security police, the CIA, we kinda work with all of them together.
Conan said after Yuna looked at us.
So you don't have any informants inside of the organization?
She asked and the three answered with an nod. Completely trying to hide the fact that Sherry, an former member, hides as Ai Haibara with them. Yuna then closed her eyes for a bit.
So, to sum it up. We have our contact with each secret service fighting against the organization. They're not all informants, but they would most likely be willing to help us. That looks pretty good.
She said and opened her eye's back up looking into the round. Everyone looked kind of tired. No wonder. They talked for hours now, without really taking an break to think about everything. Yuna first watched outside an little window, it was already pretty dark outside, then suddenly stood up.
How about we all go to bed now. It got pretty late and everything we would discuss from now on would just torture us.
She asked and walked away without waiting for an reply. So everyone was somehow forced to do so. Heiji took Sayuri back on his back and we went back inside that room. He dropped her into the bed and sat with me at the table.
So... What now?
Heiji asked. The already thinking detective while Sayuri just fully dropped into the bed.
We have to kind off behave. I mean. We could stay up the night, thinking about how to get home, but we don't even know where we are and how long it would take to get home. So how about we just go to bed now and ask her tomorrow?
Sayuri then said, staring at the ceiling.
I agree. That's the only thing we can do for now. Repeating what we discussed today won't bring us much and finding a way out is useless. So we have to sleep. Who knows what we talk about tomorrow?
Conan then answered and Heiji then nodded. They too got inside the bed and everything got silent. It didn't take that much time for the three detectives to fall asleep.
