He was ready to pull the hair from his own scalp before his father, and their enforcers arrived. Griffon had to physically hold him down just to keep him from sprinting off on his own.

And had he not been surrounded by humans he would have torn the throat out of his best friend. Aiden paced back and forth in the small room at the hospital, the one that used to contain his mate.

He could smell her fear, her anger, and two distinct male scents as well. It was driving him up a wall, his wolf was snarling in anger, which translated to his own scowl that had just seeped into the dark emotion.

He was going to find these two males that had dared touch his mate and rip them limb from limb until he bathed in their blood.

“No, you will not,”

“Shut up Griffon, you have no right to tell me what I can and cannot do to these soon-to-be dead men,”

“Might I remind you, I am still the Sheriff of this town, and do not condone acts of murder,”
