Aru was already eaten by his sadness again when the door burst open, but it wasn't any servant or Kolein checking, but Kiro himself.
"Kiro are you ok?"
It was what came out of Aru's mouth right away after seeing the disheveled look of his Alpha.
"Aru?"
Kiro shouted that startled the little girl, but not to the point of waking up.
Aru's heart leaps like a grasshopper when he finally saw Kiro, and seeing his Alpha doing fine, gives him relief, it's like all the negativity swirling inside his petty little mind were teasing him and disappeared at the sight of his man.
Though Aru wanted to jump and hug and kiss Kiro, to let Kiro smell his pheromones and ask him what happened, but, he holds himself, Aru made himself understand his place, and the excitement disappeared, just gave Kiro a nod.
