Irene put down her tea cup and pushed back her chair. Her mood was already ruined as she faked her smile and her gentle look. She gazed at the ladies and announced “if I may be excused, I need to head to the washroom for a second” and as soon as she said that she turned around with heavy yet hurried steps and fled the place. Her maids and guards followed behind her as they felt and knew that tonight would be a long desperate night. The ladies didn’t think much of this, believing it will be a quick visit to the restroom to fix her make up. However, Cyrine knew that the fleeing noble lady chances of coming back was really small. Knowing her true self, a chameleon like Irene would be rushing back to investigate the news. She must be furious, angry at herself for letting her dreams slip under her fingers. If she found out that what she said was really true God knows whose going to die under her hands tonight.
