Currently, two armies were positioned on a plain. While one had an overwhelming force in comparison to the other, the other army in question did not seem frightened, even when a huge army was in front of them. Looking at such a scene, Zeke was increasingly sure that Solaris had some plan that would succeed in giving them victory. However, even knowing this, Zeke could not confirm what exactly the plan was or what they intended to do. But looking at the army, the strangest part would surely be.
(What are those helmets?)
That question had been lingering in Zeke's mind since they had arrived. Zeke couldn't come to a logical conclusion as to why they were wearing helmets that were clearly less efficient than the metal ones.
"What shall we do, sir?"
Asked a man approaching Zeke. This man was Zeke's advisor and someone he trusted immensely.
"What do you think about this, Jason?"
Zeke asked, pointing to the helmets that some of the soldiers were wearing.
"It doesn't look like a helmet really designed for defense. Looking at the materials used, I would say a blade could easily cut through the material"
Said Jason.
Hearing Jason's words, Zeke simply nodded in agreement with Jason's way of thinking.
"I also think the same as you, but still, I have no idea how they would use those helmets"
Zeke said with a thoughtful countenance.
"Throwing yourself into battle like that would be suicide"
Said Jason with a worried look on his face.
"You think I don't know that? But if we don't go, the king will surely be enraged, and the people around him will pay for it"
Zeke said with a puzzled look. Hearing Zeke's words, Jason seemed to understand what he was trying to say.
"I understand... I'm sorry about that, sir"
Said Jason, visibly shaken. Seeing Jason's expression, Zeke sighed before patting Jason on the shoulder twice.
"That's okay, but remember to think about the consequences of your actions in the future"
Zeke said. Hearing the encouraging words of his idol, Jason couldn't help but smile.
"Understood, sir. I promise I will do my best"
Jason said, hearing Jason's response, Zeke showed a smile on his face before withdrawing his sword.
"Tell everyone to follow the combined formation. In addition, tell everyone to keep their eyes open for traps and ambushes"
Zeke said.
"Understood, sir"
Saying this, Jason turned away from Zeke and ran at high speed, spreading Zeke's words. In a few seconds, the entire army came into formation. But even seeing this, Storne's army was still impartial. Zeke was sure they were waiting for something, but he couldn't think of a plausible reason at this point.
(Did they set traps in the field?)
That was the only thing Zeke could think of at the moment. His mind was racing, trying to find a reason for such a suspicious move by the enemy. Putting this thought out of his mind, Zeke raised his sword towards the sky. He thought that he couldn't find out anything at this moment, no matter how hard he tried.
Whoever was the person who made such a plan shouldn't be someone normal. With this thought in mind, Zeke lowered his sword towards the enemy army, letting out a huge scream and starting to run towards the Solaris army.
Hearing his commander's shout, the whole army started to run towards the enemy army, following their commander. 180,000 soldiers were running at high speeds on horses towards their enemy. Zeke kept looking at the army of Solaris and predicted that they would enter combat with their enemy in a few seconds.
But strangely, Solaris was not moving. They continued to stand still, looking nowhere in particular. Although Zeke knew they seemed to be waiting for something, at that moment his suspicion was realized.
As soon as the enemy lowered his helmet, something was telling Zeke to turn around. Even with so many men running on horses, the sound of something exploding in the sky could not be masked. As Zeke looked up into the sky, he saw some kind of cloud coming towards him.
Zeke didn't know what the cloud would be used for, but he knew it would be a bad idea to collide with it. At that moment, numerous explosions were heard coming from the sky, bringing the entire Storne army to a halt. At that moment, Zeke shouted with all his might.
"Fall back, it's an ambush!"
As soon as Zeke said this, they all prepared to turn back as fast as they could but were interrupted by other explosions coming from behind. More cloud was coming at them. Seeing that scene, Zeke finally understood that those helmets were for not breathing the cloud.
Seeing no other alternative, Zeke decided to go for a fight with the remaining forces. Although most of their force was probably affected by the cloud, Zeke had no time to find out what had happened to them.
Not knowing what to do and lost in the chaos, the army decided to follow the lead of their commander and started to advance. Some of the soldiers noticed that as soon as they smelled that strange cloud, within a few seconds, they would simply fall to the ground. They didn't know if the soldiers who smelled the cloud were alive or dead and also didn't want to find out.
Within seconds, a vision from hell was unfolding. Soldiers were being cut and torn apart. The deaths kept increasing on the battlefield. Although now both forces were balanced, no one could know the final outcome of such a battle.

(Finally, it's happening)
I thought as I watched the two armies clash.
(Although I knew that we wouldn't be able to affect everyone with the cloud since we had little time to produce it, yet it is hard to know that at this very moment, several people are dying)
I thought as I tightened the sword around my waist.
