"You should have just left me." She mutters as he wobbles.
"I'm not going to drop a lady." He grumbles.
"So what will I be when that happens?" She questions.
"I-" He stumbles and falls to a knee, clutching her tight to his chest. "I will not drop you." He breathes their faces much closer together than Emelda was used to. He was giving her an annoyed look, but she couldn't help but notice how his magenta eyes glowed from the staff light that hung from his belt. His hair was disheveled, almost covering his eyes.
"... Alright. I believe you." She pushes his face away with a small blush. He huffs before returning to his feet to continue down the tunnel a bit steadier than before. She looks down the tunnel. "Sorry it turned out like this." She murmurs.
