It was a penthouse on the outskirts of town. A small fence with electric barbed wires just to keep the strolling animals in the woods away from getting inside.
"Be careful of the wires," Drake warned Emily.
"I'm not dumb," she retaliated.
"I never said you are," Drake flinched and turned to Justina. "Your friend is not friendly,"
"She is that way with strangers. She'll get used to you soon,"
Meanwhile, Emily is trying to protect herself from the claws of Drake's body. He doesn't fully have the full facial looks that make a handsome man, but definitely his body breathes fire and Emily was trying her best to stay away from the fire.
"When are we leaving?" Emily leaned over to Justina as they found their way in.
"You're already trying to leave? Was it not you that is complaining of little time?" Justina clicked her tongue and eyed her.
"Sorry," Emily went back into her former position and stole a glance at Drake which in return caught her staring.
"Won't you mind taking your mask off?" Drake asked again.
"No," she replied sharply again.
"You're too quick to answer," he giggled. "Slow down," he said and opened the tall, small-spaced wooden door. "Welcome to my crib!" He grinned.
"Yeah, he is handsome when he smiles," Emily said to herself and pipped inside the house Emily was amazed by the crowd that was inside. But you know what's more amazing? The color mixture of the furniture and walls in the house. A 3d wallpaper beautifying the 128 inches TV stuck to the wall.
"When was the last time we saw each other again?" Justina asked Drake.
"That was the last two weeks before your exams,"
"Oh yes!" She fed her eyes with the beauty of the interiors. "This is beautiful. This is heaven!" Drake smiled, greeting the folks who wanted to say hi.
"Go to the usual spot, I'll meet you there," Drake tapped on Justina's shoulder.
"Alright," Justina walked upstairs and Emily followed behind, not taking her eyes off Drake. She lustfully stared at him using the railings to find every step she needed to take without falling off. "What are you going to eat first? Justina asked, but Emily was not in her right state of mind. Justina waited till Emily bumped into her.
"Sorry," she tightened her grip on the railings.
"What are you staring at?" Justina asked, gazing at Drake. "You like him?"
"Like?" She flinched. "Someone, I barely know? I was staring at the art on the wall," she pointed at the art above Drake's head.
"Okay," Justina replied. She continued walking up the stairs and Emily followed. Emily took the seat where she'd be able to see Drake clearly.
"What makes him special?" Emily kept assuring herself that nothing matters when it comes to him. He is just mid and nothing more. She took her eyes off him and at the next turn of the head, Justina's eyes caught her.
"There is something you're not telling me,"
"There is nothing to say," Emily smiled and it faded almost immediately. Soon, some people joined them.
Drake met with them shortly after the shootouts. "Sorry for keeping you guys waiting," he apologised. "I hope you guys are enjoying yourself,"
"Yes, we are," one of the people at the table replied.
"Good," he nodded his head and turned to Emily. She was still wearing her mask. Drake sighed and walked over to Justina. "Why did you allow her to wear a mask here?" He whispered into her ears.
"I thought this was a mask party," Justina replied.
"No, it is not," Drake stole a glance at Emily who has been looking at him since he leaned forward to Justina. "A minute please," he stood upright.
Emily pointed at herself. "You mean me?" Emily asked and Drake nodded.
"I'll be back soon," he told everyone and left while Emily followed behind.
A chance to fulfil her list finally. She wants to trail her fingers on his chest down to his abs if he has. She watched his feet move swiftly down the corridor. Suddenly, he turned back.
"Are you not scared of me?" Drake asked.
"Huh?" She sounded confused.
"You don't care what I'd do to you?" He asked.
"Huh?" Still, she was speechless.
Drake moved closer to her. With every bold step Drake took, she moved backward. Drake covered the pace and pinned her to the wall with his hand against the wall. "Why don't you take the mask off?" He asked calmly.
"I–" she could not complete those words. The scent Drake's body was emitting and the prowess and masculinity he charges out kept her numb and unable to reply. Drake grinned and leaned his head forward to meet hers. Emily knew the tactics, but she was unable to reply and it baffled her. "Don't tell me I'm falling for a guy I just met tonight. I'm Emily no man can take charge of me," she said within her as she glared at Drake.
Slowly, she removed the mask. Drake tilted his head to the side, letting the blue light meet her face. Her pupil glowed blue. Drake was taken aback.
"Damn, she is beautiful," Drake said to himself, but he didn't flinch. "You're beautiful," he confessed.
"Wait until you see me in bright light," her words didn't stutter and she was calm.
"Nice," Drake grinned and leaned a little further.
"What are you trying to do?" Emily asked even though she had been wanting to do this for a very long time. A good time to tick something off her bucket list – Kiss a stranger.
His lips were about to meet hers when her phone rang. She looked at the caller – GODMOTHER. She frowned. "Sorry, I need to pick up this call," she said and ducked, passing under his arm.
"Hello, mother,"
"Your mother has fainted and she is at the hospital right now!"
"What!?" She yelled and ran outside. Drake wanted to follow her, but his phone rang.
"Hello, who is this please?" Drake asked.
"Hey, Drakky?"
Drake's eyes shot wide. "André!"
Luckily for Emily, she saw a cab, boarded it and zoomed off. Justina walked out, but she was too late. A few minutes later, the cab suddenly stopped.
"What is wrong Mister?"
"I think my gas is finished,"
"Fuck," she grabbed her hair. "What's the distance from here to Roberts Hospital?"
"A few metres," he pointed forward. "That's the building," Immediately she got off and paid the cabman. "Sorry for the inconvenience,"
"No problem," she said and ran off.

André entered the supermarket beside Roberts Hospital and bought wine – A gift for his brother. He smiled, staring at the wine in his hand as he exited the supermarket.
He walked gently to his car, but his state of mind was taken up to par as he helped a lady from falling – Emily.
