the air feels different today, not exactly good or bad just different, like when you can tell a storm is coming and the air is thicker than usual. air like that usually feels almost damp like the storm is suffocating your lungs, but its not uncomfortable, that air is weirdly calming. the air today feels thick but dry, like my lungs are burning just breathing it in. the village has been peaceful recently, its a nice change to what it had been, its weird really, it felt pike we were living in hell and then i went away for 3 years to train in the mountains and when we returned everything felt like it was going to normal or at least calming down, now two years after that im 17 and everything seems fine, ive matured with age, i dont have any use for training with my jutsu but i have been relying on it less. im on the roof of the hokages office building, its the highest point in the village, its very peaceful here. i take a deep breath, the air feels like its getting thicker every second, the sky itself has been darkening as well.

"what the hell is going on" i mutter. theres a loud crack and the sky appears to shatter, the air feels boiling hot and something flies out of the sky, it looks like a person, theres an explosion as it hits the ground

"instant transmission!" im at the site of the crash now, i have to find out whats going on, dust and smoke floats around and people are gathered by the crater, no one is brave enough to check what it is, the smoke begins to clear and a figure stands up. i recognize them, i manage to stutter out a word,

"G- Goku?"
