Sasha blinked a few times, trying to clear her blurry vision, and then suddenly froze as she saw a figure sleeping next to her in bed.
Her heart raced as she tried to piece together the events of the previous night. Had she really slept with someone? Had she made a huge mistake? Sasha's mind was a jumble of thoughts and emotions, and she felt a knot forming in her stomach. She looked around and realized that she was lying in a bed that wasn't hers. Panic began to set in as she tried to recall the events of the previous night. She couldn't remember how she ended up in this unfamiliar place. She looked to her right and saw a man sleeping next to her. She didn't recognize him at first, but then she realized it was Adam.
Sasha's heart began to race as she quickly sat up, feeling a wave of nausea wash over her. She shook Adam, trying to wake him up. "Adam, wake up!" she said urgently.
Adam groaned and slowly opened his eyes. He looked confused for a moment before he registered what was happening. "Sasha? What's wrong?" he asked, his voice still groggy from sleep.
Sasha took a deep breath and tried to steady herself. "What happened last night?" she asked, her voice shaking slightly. "Why am I here?"
Adam rubbed his eyes and sat up. "Oh, right," he said, yawning. "You don't remember? We crashed here last night after my birthday party."
Sasha's eyes widened in shock. "What? No, I don't remember that at all."
Adam looked at her, concern etched on his face. "Are you okay?" he asked. He couldn't fathom why she was so worried. He was her boyfriend now and didn't understand why she was panicking at the moment.
Sasha hesitated for a moment before nodding. "Yeah, I think so," she said, trying to convince herself. "But why am in your bed?"
Adam looked at her, confusion written all over his face. "What do you mean?" he asked.
Sasha took a deep breath and looked at him. "Did we...did we do anything last night?" she asked, feeling her cheeks flush with embarrassment.
Adam's eyes widened in surprise. "What? No, Sasha, of course not!" he exclaimed. "I mean, we were both pretty drunk, but we didn't do anything." He couldn't take advantage of her when she was drunk. He wanted her to volunterily give it to him. He couldn't take advantage of the moment when she was tipsy. He wasn't that type of guy in the first place.
Sasha let out a sigh of relief and slumped back against the headboard. "Oh, thank God," she said, feeling the tension in her body release.
Adam looked at her, his expression softening. "Are you okay?" he asked again, reaching out to put a hand on her shoulder.
Sasha nodded slowly. "Yeah, I think so," she said. "I'm just...I'm just really freaked out right now."
Adam nodded, understanding written all over his face. "I get it," he said. "But I promise, nothing happened. You really drunk too much and thought it was best to bring you here to rest."
Sasha nodded again, feeling the weight of the situation slowly lifting from her shoulders. "Okay," she said, her voice still shaky. "Thank you for telling me. I just...I really needed to know."
Adam smiled at her reassuringly. "No problem," he said. He sat up and swung his legs over the side of the bed. "We need to talk," he said, turning to face her.
Sasha sat up straight, suddenly more awake. "About what?" she asked, feeling a knot forming in her stomach.
Adam took a deep breath. "It's in the contract. One of the requirements is for us to be intimate." He thought that it was the best time for him to inform her that. He saw her reaction after she thought that they were intimate and wanted to make things clear.
Sasha's eyes widened, and she felt her face heat up. "What?" she whispered, barely audible. Her heart beat pounded faster as her eyes widened. She was staring at him in shock after what he had just told her.
"We have to make love," Adam said, looking at her with a serious expression.
Sasha felt like the ground had been pulled out from under her. She had never been intimate with anyone before, and the thought of it made her stomach churn. She had thought that this arrangement with Adam was purely professional, and now she found herself in a situation she wasn't prepared for.
"I'm sorry," Adam said, noticing the shocked look on Sasha's face. "I should have told you earlier. It's in the contract, and we both agreed to it."
Sasha sat there in silence, feeling a wave of emotions wash over her. She was scared, confused, and unsure of what to do. She had always thought she would wait until marriage to be intimate with the person that she loved, but now she found herself in a situation she hadn't expected.
"I understand if you're not ready for this," Adam said, breaking the silence. "We can talk about it more and figure out a way to make this work for both of us."
Sasha nodded, still feeling overwhelmed. "I just wasn't expecting it," she said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Adam gave her a small smile. "I know. And I'm sorry for springing it on you like this. But we can take it slow, and I'll make sure you're comfortable every step of the way."
Sasha looked at Adam, feeling grateful for his understanding. She knew he was a kind man, and she trusted him. But the thought of being intimate with him still scared her.
"I just need some time to think," she said, feeling tears welling up in her eyes.
"Take all the time you need," Adam said, reaching out to take her hand. "I'm here for you, Sasha."
Sasha nodded, feeling a sense of relief. She knew she could trust Adam, and she was grateful for his patience and understanding. She knew she needed some time to think about what she wanted and what was best for her.
As Adam got up and left the room, Sasha lay back down on the bed, feeling overwhelmed. She closed her eyes and tried to calm her racing thoughts. She knew that whatever she decided, it would be a big decision, one that would change her life forever.
