Chapter 1 - Prologue

4000 years ago the Earth was revitalised. Through this event myths and legends, magic and cultivation was re-introduced to humans and the world. Animals became beasts and humans gained great powers. But not all was good, as with these changes came great dangers. The worlds population was reduced from 7billion to 2billon in only 3 years by rampaging beasts and magic sickness (people who cannot adapted to the magic in the air). People had to adapt to the new environment and those who didn't died. As such powerful people founded cities all over the world to help those weaker than them live normal lives. These cities were constructed with formation barriers around them allowing no beasts to harm those within. Each city was connected through teleportation gates and as such peace was once again restored.

One of the main changes after the revitalisation was humans awakening Bloodlines, powers long forgotten and dormant in human arose. As such new classes were created. These were cultivators, magic users, ability users and demonic or magical beasts. These then have sub-classes. Like magic users have mages, wizard's, sorcerers, potion makers and witches. Power of magic users is measure in circles, the more circles you have the more powerful you are. Cultivation has two ways to cultivate, soul or Qi. This can then be split off into subclass such as alchemy, formation, sword or marshal arts. Cultivation strength is measured in realms from lowest to highest, foundation, soldier, general, king, emperor, saint, immortal, ascension. In each realm is 7 levels before the next. Ability users have the most diverse subclasses as their ability could be literally anything. They are also nicknamed irregulars as there is no pattern to there power or who will obtain an ability(this is because bloodlines are not taken into account with those who have ability's for example a person with a common bloodline could have a powerful ability). Their power is measured in letters from strongest to weakest being SS, S, A, B, C, D, E, F. Beast both demonic and magical are also measured in this way.

Bloodlines were separated into power levels as well as rarity from lowest to highest. Common, rare, heroic, legendary, mythical and eternal. Common bloodlines are as numerous as the stars. Those with rare bloodlines are fewer but not uncommon. Legendary bloodlines number in the hundreds and mythical bloodlines and in the fifty's (50). On the other hand there are only 6 eternal bloodlines, eternal dragon, eternal ice, eternal fire, eternal life, eternal death and eternal void.

Unlike all other bloodlines that can only fit into one of the three classes, these bloodlines can fit into two of them, magic user or cultivator. Once you awaken this bloodline you would also stop ageing, your power will skyrocket and you will be envied by all. But with such great benefits comes great consequences as well, fertility rates in these families is so low that it's almost nonexistent. Because of this few people know if any of these bloodlines still exist…
