what have I done... clearly I'm doing something wrong if the god of destruction and corruption blesses me...
[god of corruption and destruction. ]
it's practically have the same meaning though.
[correction, the title of a god depend on how early one's title is... correction, if a god have three or more title it can only display two of the title... conclusion, depending on how strong and prideful a god is, they're title may differ meaning. ]
you just let out a secret information do you?
[correction, user is an idiot. ]
damnit! the system have a spine and that means I can't blackmail it, anyway you're that blessing from that god right?
[yes.]
the 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙤𝙣𝙚?
[yes.]
that's good... great even... now for the important question, 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤?
[unit have all access to memories, unit can assign special quest, unit is a regular system except for some irregularities, unit offer stronger albeit slower leveling. ]
then what about the how to of the world? is it like an rpg or some novel I read about? anything I could relate to really.
[the new world, uses faith as the main power, from your memory database you can relate to it as [nothing] it is very much a rule you set for yourself. ]
so... if I believe myself that I'm invincible... does that mean I'm invincible or there's something more at play here?
[no, the system takes your faith and makes it a reality with drawbacks, the stronger the supposed belief, the more faith should be needed, and vice versa. you can't lie to yourself, self delusion is impossible. ]
ugh, I can already sees some shitty fucker with protagonist syndrome already.
[fear not, for that is almost impossible. a loser will stay a loser. ]
I don't like that 𝙖𝙡𝙢𝙤𝙨𝙩.
[sometimes, miracle do happen. ]
only if you're dumb enough to believe it, there are no second chances, only a turning point.
...
anyway, you said you're a system thingy right? like the novel kind? or the rpg kind?
[it's what you would believe a proper system should be. ]
oh, you gotta be kidding me! why is it based on my belief!?! remembering the very same quote I said to the timekeeper while talking about rpg system downright put fear in my soul.
'a system should be a way to display your skill! not how good you are at doing a certain stupid action and getting rewarded for it! it's 𝙣𝙤𝙩 something that makes you stronger, instead it should be like a stat board or something, the title you get should be hard to get! and actually rewarding instead of 'oh I got three defense by equipping a title that sound lame, so I should use it! ' it should have been 'this title sound cool and have a special effect that made enemies aggro me more because they are jealous, by using these specific title I can draw the sin of envy out of his office which then I can stage a revolutionary strike making his defense lower down to where I can one shot him using a paperclip. ' that's! how it's done, not to reward the player for doing a repetitive thing but to reward their unique approach by providing a niche reward that makes you think. it sound complicated but the gist of it is, reward your player brain. '
this system is going to be a pain in the ass, anyway system!
[name:Hank]
[title:empty]
[body:29]
[mind:35]
[instinct:70]
great! just as I thought... at least it doesn't get cramped like many other novel I read...
system could you tell me about these weird stat?
[system processing... failed]
just as I thought.
[the system is sorry for failing. ]
aww, it's fine. I knew roughly what it does anyway.
[would you care to explain? ]
honestly... I think this would be more like the simulation system where I can't level up and there's no skill either, so the body stat would be the accumulation of number that makes up my body capabilities, it doesn't mean anything even as comparison as the same stat have a different capabilities, for example if an enemy A have a body stat of 50 but most of those stat are for tanking capabilities, while enemy B have the same body stat but most of the stat went to speed, making those two a completely different enemies with the same value.
[...] (lol, I can only imagine the system writing on a piece of paper vigorously.)
the mind stat is the same but... okay, I have no idea what it does except for thinking...
the instinct is literally that, based on how fast you think and react in the heat of the moment, I think I'm pretty good at this judging from the abnormally high values I'm comparison to my other stat.
and... that's it... oh boy, this is gonna suck... can I even level up too? it's a tall mountain to climb based on how I think level up are meaningless... I can only hope I got op stuff laying around...
actually did I have identification? hold on, I quickly examine a rock in the corner.
[a rock]
pretty straight forward... how about that suspicious person with an excessive amount of weaponry laying around him? wait a minute... something's not right... oh! I get it! we're in a safe zone so it must be the trader that sold an extremely expensive and unreliable weaponry based on my faith! yep! must be it. if I buy a healing potion from that guy, it's probably poisonous.
[trader: during all of this chaos that's been going around, several people have gotten the trader class or... have come through the world to deliver you a profitable goods that may or may not be of excellent condition, they struck a deal with the safe zone to sell their goods, as long as they held their bargain... ]
that's... actually useful... wow... I know I have very low expectations regarding the system in general but... wow.
"hello! there! costumer! welcome! to my shop. " the man lays several thing onto the floor, most of them I cannot recognize but it isn't like I'm buying stuff right? I don't have a single cent in me.
"sorry man, but I'm broke as fuck. " I gestured to the man as he smiled even wider, the mask he was wearing fall onto the floor as he pulls out a gas mask and put it on.
"do not worry! the first one's free! "he said as he pulls out a sign from out if nowhere that reads 'customer service'.
"really? what about that sign? "
"yes! that sign mean customer service! here! " the man pulls out a twenty page paper out of nowhere.
leaning over where two of my team member slept, I quickly snatched the paper.
𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘱𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘳! 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘰𝘳 𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘤𝘬 𝘱𝘢𝘱𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘵𝘺.
I sat down to somewhere comfortable as I read the terms and service.
after about thirty minutes scrutinizing details and extracting information I can conclude that signing this paper is indeed worth it, though I lose my personal information it is tightly protected from the looks of thing, and a shop will open up... though from the paper implies I cannot buy the thing in them, it's a bit vague and the paper even mention that it must be vague... corporation stuff I guess.
anyway I sign this contract but I couldn't buy the item unfortunately, why? if I have to do that I'll miss out on the customer service.
the customer service is not really that odd except for three rules.
first, is that it will end if I bought something.
second, I can ask the seller about... 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙮𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜.
and the third, I can take the freebie because it's 𝙩𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 not buying anything.
the rest of it are just what you would expect a dimension hopping trader have as their rule.
anyway... what would I want?

ehehehehehehehehehehe, more fighting! killing and stuff.
