As his heart quaked with fear, he felt a great heat on his hands. He was afraid to look into his robe. It might be something else or even his fear of failure that was making his hands feel warm. Slowly, he looked into its robe and discovered a beautiful white bird. His spirit animal was so cute, and he smiled.
He wished he was allowed more time to spend some time with this other part of him that lay hidden all these years but he knew it was a request these dark siblings won't grant. letting out a sigh of relief, he spoke to the bird and it seemed to understand it. Find lucus that there is trouble he said, telling the bird the direction through his heart.
From research done by mages, it is believed that the owner of a spirit animal can communicate with the animal by heart. In his heart, he began to repeat all he wanted his spirit animal to know, and from the looks in the bird's eyes, he knew it could read every beat of his thoughts.
After giving the spirit animal the direction, he brought it out quickly and threw it into the air, expecting it to fly through the little opening in the roof. But instead, he met with the shock of his life. The bird could not fly.
Seeing what was happening, the dark sibling's facial expressions turned into dread, what was happening. But before they could say jack the bird dropped to the floor, making a strange sound at the priest. The prest got it. The two just met and they were already quarreling.
"Oh no," the priest said hitting his head hard.
The two siblings burst into an evil laugh.
Helena advanced slowly towards the bird, ready to smash its head with her feet. The priest could read the words written on the heart of his spirit animal, it was scared beyond every inch of doubt. The priest closed his eyes, he couldn't just sit back and watch the head of his spirit animal be smashed like that and there was absolutely nothing he could do about it. He was weaker than that bird in its helpless state.
As Helena continued advancing toward the bird, it swiftly spread out its wings and flew swiftly towards the opening of the roof. In return, Helena fired a dark energy to seal off the opening but before the place could be sealed, the bird was already a step away. The priest sighed, it was indeed a narrow escape.
"Do you think this is over," Helena glared at the priest? "Let's see if your little beast can run faster than the sky," Helena threatened, staring at Gregon who took the hint.
He formed a dark spell with both hands like a dark ball of fire and he released it into the night sky. The clouds began to rumble and lightning struck at regular intervals. The priest knew his spirit animal would never be able to survive that, especially now that he had no energy in him.
"As for you," Helena turned around returning her hateful gaze at him.
"What about me, the priest inquired."
"It's time to send you to Hades," Helena replied.
"At least it would be better off than watching your ugly evil faces," the priest replied.
"Consider this a pleasure."
Helena held the tip of the priest's robes and pulled him up into the air. With little force, she throws him through the small opening and listened as he screamed violently.
"It is time brother, to take our rightful position in this place," Helena said and the duo burst into grievous laughter.
Meanwhile, the white bird continued flying to Lucus's home when the sky turned dead Black. Then, lightning began to strike at regular intervals. It thought it was natural until the lightning began to stick in its direction.
It was confused as it continued to manage around the lightning. As this continued, the bird could see the home of the sorcerer just in front of it.
It could help but sigh with joy as it flew faster to home. But it is struck by a pearl of lightning making it flop in the air. The bird fell on the glass window of the sorcerer and fell to the floor. There, it drew its last breath to join its master.
A few minutes later, Lucus woke up swiftly sweating profusely. How he rose from the bed disturbed his bed so much that she was also forced to wake up.
She stared at the disturbed look of her husband and knew that something was wrong.
"What is wrong," Victoria inquired.
"Nothing, please go back to bed," Lucus replied.
"Your face looks so disturbed, contradicting what you just said that I am forced to admit that you are lying."
Lucus sighed. He knew he had to give Victoria a valid answer or she won't let her be.
"Didn't you hear that," he inquired?
"Heard what," Victoria returned confused.
"That scream, the voice sounded so familiar," Lucus explained.
"I didn't hear a word. I think you are just making something out of something. You should go back to bed now, the night is far spent."
"If nothing is wrong, why do I feel so worried, like a part of me is dead."
"Nothing is wrong dear Lucus, All you need is a good night's rest. I think you are worried because of the storm and lightning struck. But I must agree that it is a weird night though."
"You have said it all," Lucus said returning to bed with a smile.
A few minutes later, he was already asleep. But in his sleep, he was not granted rest. He found himself in the castle and before him was the twenty-one order of the witches. A took a brief look around him and found the dead bodies of other great sorcerers and knights.
"Take a look at this," one of the orders said. Producing the detached head of the king. Immediately he saw this, his sword dropped to the floor and he lets out a slight cry, it was all over.
"See, you lost," twenty-one order said uniformly, laughing in such a way that he was almost deafened.
