The paladin's face contorted in pain as Levi's attacks landed one after another. He stumbled back, trying to catch his breath, and looked up at Levi with a mixture of shock and respect.
"It seems that we got the wrong information," the paladin said, his voice strained. "You are more powerful than I thought."
Levi didn't let his guard down, but a small smile played at the corners of his lips. He had faced many opponents in his time, but few had earned his respect as quickly as this paladin had. He watched as the paladin took a few deep breaths, trying to steady himself.
Levi was curious about the paladin's purpose in being there. "Who told you to come here?" he asked, his voice laced with contempt. He didn't like surprises, and the unexpected appearance of a paladin of the Holy Divine Court was definitely a surprise.
