"Should we reveal the characters now? In three...two....one!"
Kay flipped the board and revealed the characters of their children's book, cute animal characters that were based off the members. Jooyoung's was an blonde cat, Taegu was a sleepy looking wolf, and Yun was a puppy with sparkling bright eyes.
Sejeong squealed inside. The characters were so cute! She couldn't wait until the merchandise came out and she would absolutely buy everything! Especially Taegu's character, the wolf perfectly reflected his charms—his downturned eyes, his tall nose, and structured square face shape.
"Ms. Daisy? What do you think of the character designs!"
"I think they're great!" She's somewhat gotten used to being in front of a camera. "They did a great job of captivating all of your characteristics!'
Minhyun, who was usually the quiet member prompted the question, "who's your favourite character, Ms. Daisy?"
Before she could answer, Yun spoke up first. "Probably the wolf! She said her bias was Taegu-hyung afterall."
He was right, she was going to pick Taegu's wolf. But as she was about to answer, she made eye contact with Jooyoung, who, despite being the 'cat' of the group, seemed to be looking at her with puppy eyes.
"Hm...I think, I think that I like the cat the most. He looks like a real troublemaker with those sharp eyes."
The room abrupted in laughter.
"Are you saying that Jooyoung-hyung looks like a troublemaker?" asked Raebin.
Sejeong glanced at Jooyoung, he was smiling at her and awaiting an answer. "Yep, he does look like quite the troublemaker."
The shoot ended in another success. She wasn't as nervous as she was before, and she found herself actually enjoying the time with the members. Not to mention, the project was actually starting to grow on her and she was exciting to see how the children's story book would progress.
Sejeong headed to her waiting room, stretching out her sore muscles and so ready to take her mask off. Manager Seo was waiting for her in front of her room.
"You seem to have a lot of fun with the members," he said.
"Yup! They're all really nice and funny!"
Manager Seo scrunched his eyebrows.
"You think I'm nice and funny?"
Sejeong turned her attention to the voice, and just like the week before, Jooyoung had come to her waiting room to find her. It was a good thing that she was properly wearing her mask this time around.
"Noona, perhaps you could bless me with your signature today?" He was holding the same copy of, "After The Wind Blows."
'Noona? How does he know that I'm older than him...is he guessing off my appearance? My voice? Gosh, do I really appear that old?'
"I'm sorry but I thought I made it clear that unwarranted meetings were not allowed with our artist," Manager Seo cut in. Sejeong didn't understand why he was so against her seeing Jooyoung, whether it was at the book signing, or him visiting her waiting room, but either way, he had no right to block her from seeing her precious idol!
"No, actually, I want to sign that book. So if you'll excuse me—" she swirled around Manager Seo and grabbed Jooyoung's book. She patted her pockets for a pen with no avail, so she pulled the fountain pen on Manager Seo's suit pocket and scribbled on her signature. "Here you go."
As she handed him back the book, Jooyoung leaned in closer and shot her a smile. "Thank you so much, Noona. I'm a huge fan of your work," he said.
'Holy shit holy shit he's so cute so cute.' Sejeong's head was in full frenzy mode but she tried her best to contain her panic.
"Noona? Please use the proper honorifics when addressing Ms. Daisy." Manager Seo's expression was blank but Sejeong could tell that he was mad.
Jooyoung looked down at his book, "But...we're pretty close, aren't we Noona?"
Sejeong's heart felt like exploding and she found herself nodding without even realizing. 'He's so cute he's so cute he's so cute!'
"And besides," he continued, "I have a sudden interest in her. So I plan on getting even closer. Hope that's not a problem for you, Mr. Manager."
Jooyoung winked in Sejeong's direction and waved goodbye. Was she dead? Because Sejeong could swear that she was in heaven.
