Chapter 11 - Chapter 10: the new kind

In the beginning of time, there was only the True God, who existed eternally and had no beginning or end. Though He was all-powerful and all-knowing, He felt a void within himself - a lack of something that he could not name. And so, from the depths of His being, He gave birth to a new creation.

This creation was the first of the demons - beings that embodied the desires and dualities of the True God. These demons were the manifestation of everything that the True God desired and feared, and they were tasked with tempting and testing the will of the beings that He would later create.

In this way, the demons came into existence, as expressions of the True God's longing and doubt. They would go on to play a crucial role in shaping the universe, acting as the arbiters of morality and the guardians of balance. And though they would be feared by some and revered by others, they would always be a part of the great tapestry of creation, bound to the will of the True God who brought them into being.

The ancient demons also represented the duality of life, embodying both the light and the dark aspects of existence. The seven sins that they represented were not simply negative traits, but rather, they were integral parts of world nature. Each sin had its own unique characteristics and qualities, but together they formed a perfect balance.

For instance, greed represented a desire for material wealth and power, but it also served as a driving force for ambition and motivation. Lust represented a thirst for physical pleasure, but it also embodied the desire for love and connection. Gluttony represented an insatiable desire for food, but it also symbolized the importance of nourishment and sustenance.

Wrath represented anger and violence, but it also embodied the desire for justice and the protection of loved ones. Sloth represented laziness and lethargy, but it also represented the importance of rest and relaxation. Envy represented covetousness and resentment, but it also symbolized the desire for growth and self-improvement. Pride represented arrogance and egotism, but it also embodied the importance of confidence and self-worth.

The ancient demons were not simply evil beings, but they represented the complexity and nuance of world nature. They were a reminder that there was more to the world than simply good and evil, and that everything was not as black and white as it may seem.

As we approached the unsealed demon in the heart of the Echna Forest, we were filled with a mixture of fear and awe. The demons represented something greater than ourselves, something ancient and powerful. As the entire surrounding mana was absorbed into the unsealed body, it was clear that this was not just any ordinary being. The transformation was nothing short of miraculous, and we couldn't help but be captivated by its power.

Despite our fear and caution, we felt drawn towards the demon. Our instincts told us that this was the key to escaping the dungeons that had trapped us. We were curious about the unsealed being and the role it played in the universe. We were also intrigued by its connection to the True God, and the significance of its creation.

In the end, we realized that there was much more to the ancient demons than we had originally thought. They were not simply evil beings, but they represented something greater and more complex. They were a reminder of the vastness and intricacy of the universe and the beings that inhabit it. They represented the power and might of the True God, and they were a reminder of the importance of understanding and embracing the duality of life.

The first appearance of demons after the seal was broken was a spectacular sight to behold. It was as if time itself stood still as the ancient demons were unleashed from their prison. The once crystalized seal shattered into countless shards, bursting into light and mist. The light illuminated the area, creating a beautiful and haunting display. From the mist, the demons appeared, one by one, in their full and magnificent form. Their physical appearance was awe-inspiring and intimidating, reflecting their powers and influence over the world. With each step they took, the ground trembled and the air was filled with the scent of magic. The demons stood tall, their presence commanding attention and respect. They were the embodiment of raw power, a force to be reckoned with, and their first appearance was a testament to their might.

The ancient demons were truly a marvel to behold. As one of the oldest beings in the universe, they existed even before the creation of heaven, hell, and earth. They were created by the True God, the Only One God, as some of the first beings in existence. Each demon represented a specific sin: greed, lust, gluttony, wrath, sloth, envy, and pride.

These demons were not content with simply existing, they desired more. It was said that they were brave enough to approach the True God and ask for the creation of life, death, and the place where it would all occur. This act showed their ambition and their drive to be more than just mere creations.

Their existence was a testament to the power and might of the True God. The demons were not simply mindless beings, but beings with their own personalities and desires. It was an awe-inspiring sight to think about the ancient demons and their role in the creation of the world. It was a reminder of the vastness and complexity of the universe and the beings that inhabit it.

I, Eintracht, was taken aback by what I had just witnessed. The sealed unknown being, once crystalized and frozen in time, was now fully unsealed and in its prime condition. The surrounding mana absorbed into the body and created a blizzard-like effect, with the once pale hair now turned into the blackest black and the once skinny body now turned into a fine and beautiful woman, with wings that had grown.

As I took in the sight, I couldn't help but feel surprised by what I had done. This mana wavelength was indeed that of a Demon, and the danger situation was real. My blood pumped with the thought of revenge, but in this state, I couldn't even touch the Demon.

However, the situation was about to get even more dangerous. The Demon regained its consciousness and in this state, its power was unmatched. I couldn't help but feel both fear and awe at the same time, realizing that we were in the presence of a deity.

The thought of facing off against a deity was daunting, but I couldn't help but be curious about the Demon and what it wanted from us. This was a situation that was beyond anything I had ever encountered before, and I couldn't help but feel a mix of fear, excitement, and uncertainty.

As I stood there, facing the unsealed being that I had released from its crystalized state, I was filled with a mixture of awe and fear. The sheer power radiating from the demon was palpable, and I could feel my blood pump with a desire for revenge. But I knew that my thirst for vengeance could very well lead to my death.

I turned to Sigrid, Shela, and Elia and said, "We need to use our common sense here. If we attack the demon, we will surely die for nothing. We have to try and talk to it. Perhaps if we approach with a peaceful demeanor, the demon may spare us."

Sigrid nodded in agreement, "Yes, it's worth a try. We have to think about our survival."

Shela chimed in, "Yes, that's a good point. We should try to find out more about why it sees us that way."

I took a deep breath and stepped forward, cautiously approaching the demon. As I got closer, I could feel the intense mana interference and I braced myself for the worst. But to my surprise, the demon simply looked at me with what seemed like curiosity.

"Demon," I said, trying to keep my voice steady. "Who are you?"

The demon's voice was deep and commanding, yet there was a hint of amusement in its tone. "I am the god that created thou all. The one whom breathed life into thy beings and granted thou sentience"

I was taken aback by the demon's declaration, but at the same time, I couldn't help but feel a strange sense of familiarity. I knew that we had to tread carefully in this situation, as the demon was not to be trifled with.

We continued our conversation with the demon, trying to understand its motivations and its place in the world. As we spoke, I couldn't help but feel a sense of awe at the sheer power and majesty of this being. And though I was filled with fear, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude for the opportunity to stand in its presence and learn from it.

The conversation between me and the demon was filled with tension and curiosity. As I had been the one to release the demon from its seal, it was only natural that I would receive a reward in return. The demon offered me a single question and a single wish. I took this opportunity to ask about the very beings that stood before me.

"Thank you," I said, still in awe of the demon's power and wisdom. "I have a question about the nature of demons. What exactly are they?"

The demon smiled, a hint of amusement in her eyes. "Demons born with the embodiment of desire and fear. Demon exist to tempt and to havoc, to discover the strengths and weaknesses of the universe"

I nodded, trying to understand the complex nature of the demon. "And what of the demon that attacked my village?" I asked. "Do you know of it?"

The demon's smile faded and her expression turned serious. "I canst not say for certain, as i was sealed for thirty thousand years and hast no remembrance of that time. And yet , i am content to join thee on thy quest to find the culprit and bring 'em to justice. As thy companion, i shall doth all that I to assist thee"

With that, the demon transformed her body into that of a beautiful, strong-willed woman with red hair. Her wings and thorns disappeared, and her mana signature changed.

"I grant thy wish," she said. "That I but can help thee find what thou art wished."

Valanoria was an ancient demon, one of the primordial beings that existed even before the creation of heaven and earth. She was a marvel to behold, a testament to the power of the True God who created her and all other demons. Her appearance was striking, with a body that radiated beauty and grace. Her long white hair flowed down her back, contrasting with her striking red iris. Her skin was flawless, with a delicate texture that seemed almost ethereal.

But Valanoria was not just a pretty face. She was a formidable being, with the power to inspire fear and awe in those who beheld her. Her body was adorned with thorns, sharp and deadly, which symbolized her dangerous nature. Her black wings were massive and imposing, a clear indication of her prowess and authority. Her tails were many, each one as deadly as the last, a clear sign of her cunning and agility.

Floating above her head was a magic black crown, a symbol of her status and power as one of the primordial demons. This crown was not just a symbol, however. It was a powerful talisman that enhanced her abilities and protected her from harm. With her beautiful appearance, powerful abilities, and commanding presence, Valanoria was a truly awe-inspiring demon, one of the most formidable and feared beings in the universe.

Eintracht and his party were surprised to see that the demon they had just unsealed was actually an ancient demon named Valanoria, one of the primordial demons that existed before the creation of heaven and earth. For breaking the seal, Eintracht granted Valanoria one question and one wish. Eintracht asked the origin of the demon and wished to find the demon who killed his sister. However, Valanoria told Eintracht that she could not fulfill his wish. Despite this, Valanoria decided to join Eintracht's party in order to fulfill her own desires.

Initially, Eintracht refused to accept Valanoria as a member of his party. However, Valanoria threatened Eintracht and his companions with death and offered a magic contract that would prevent her from killing them. The contract stated that Valanoria would not kill Eintracht or any members of the party. Faced with no other option, Eintracht reluctantly agreed to accept Valanoria as a member of his party.

Eintracht and the party, Sigrid, Shela and Elia, stood before the ancient demon named Valanoria. Eintracht felt a mix of emotions, guilt for having broken the seal that confined her, and fear for having made a deal with such a powerful being. He stepped forward and addressed his companions, "Friends, I must apologize for what I have done. I never expected this to happen, but we have no choice but to accept Valanoria into our group."

Sigrid stepped forward, "Eintracht, what happened to the conversations?"

Eintracht explained the circumstances that led to Valanoria's arrival, "We broke the seal that confined her, and as a result, she offered to grant me one question and one wish. I asked about the origin of demons and wished to find the demon that killed my sister. Valanoria couldn't fulfill my wish, so she has joined us in the hopes of finding the answer together."

Elia spoke up, "But why did you accept her into our group? It feels like we are playing with fire."

Eintracht sighed, "I had no choice. Valanoria made a vow with a magic contract, stating that she will not harm us. I felt threatened by her killing intent and had no choice but to accept her into our party."

Shela nodded, "I understand, but we must be cautious. We don't know her motives or intentions. We must keep our guard up."

Eintracht nodded, "I agree, but we must also remember that she has pledged not to harm us. We must give her a chance and work together towards our common goal."

Valanoria floated forward, her thorns and black wings making her an intimidating presence.

Eintracht and the party looked at each other, unsure of what the future held with Valanoria by their side. But they knew one thing for sure, their journey had just gotten a lot more complicated.

Valanoria, the ancient demon, underwent a transformation when she joined Eintracht's party. To ease the tensions among the party members and to not intimidate them, she chose to assume a human form. In this new form, Valanoria was a vision of beauty with her long red hair cascading down her back. Her height was now comparable to that of Shela, one of the party members, and her striking features such as thorns and wings were nowhere to be seen. The black floating magic crowns that once perched atop her head had disappeared, leaving no trace of her former self. The only indication that she was not a typical human was her mana signature, which was still present, but now blended in with that of a human. Valanoria had taken a step towards building trust with the party members and a new chapter had begun for her in this new form.

"with this form, thou should'st not worry about me"

Eintracht, Sigrid, Elia, and Shela were ready to set out on their journey again. They were excited to see what new adventures awaited them and were eager to face any challenges that came their way. However, they were in for a surprise as they met a new companion who would be joining them on their journey.

The new companion was Valanoria, an ancient demon who had been sealed away for a long time. Eintracht and the party had unsealed her, and as a result, Valanoria had granted Eintracht one question and one wish. Eintracht had asked about the origin of demons and wished to find the demon that had killed his sister. Although Valanoria couldn't fulfill Eintracht's wish, she had decided to join the party to help him find the answers he was seeking.

At first, Eintracht was hesitant to accept Valanoria as a companion. However, with the threat of a killing intent and a vow made through a magic contract that stated that Valanoria would not harm him or the party, Eintracht had no choice but to accept her. Valanoria had transformed into a human form to make the party members feel more comfortable and less intimidated by her presence. In this form, Valanoria had a beautiful red long hair and was the same height as Shela. Her thorns and wings had disappeared, and her crowns were nowhere to be seen. Her mana signature was now the same as a human's.

With Valanoria now part of the group, the party was complete and ready to explore the world. Valanoria was a quiet one, preferring not to ask or answer questions. She spoke in old languages, and had an aura of mystery around her. The party members were curious about her and wanted to know more about her, but they respected her silence and were happy to have her as a companion.

Eintracht took the role of party leader as he had been given the position by Sigrid. Sigrid was a veteran and used a greatsword, infusing mana to strengthen her body. Shela was a long-distance fighter who used a bow and dagger, infusing mana to strengthen her arrows and had talents in magic. Elia was a scout who used a dagger in close combat, infusing mana in a stealthy way. The party was now ready to embark on their journey, facing any challenges that came their way and exploring the world together.
