Ethan after finishing class got to his room. He was planning to venture the magic beast forest a little to get the real life battle experience.
At Sunday Ethan took the train to the station near the magic beast mountain. Although the academy exists between capaital and magic beast forest it's not near.
The magic beast forest is far away. So Ethan took the train for going to magic beast forest.
After getting out of train station he started to go to the forest. He's carraying the sword which the previous Ethan got from his family.
It's a D grade weapon.
There are several grades of weapon which are
F, E, D, C, B, A, S, Semi Divine, Divine, Mythical. The weapons upto grade A can be made by humans as for S grade and Semi Divine grade weapon are made by dwarves. Divine grade and Mythical grade can only be got from the dungeon reward or as an Inheritence. The artifacts too follow the same grade.
Ethan would be entering only at the protected layer where only lower grade monsters enter.
The deeper you go the stronger the magic beasts get.
The magic beast too have grades starting from
F, E, D, C, B, A
From A they are considered to have attainded sentience. If a magic beast reaches S grade it'll have it's own lair and won't come out easily until it's absolutely necessary. The no. of monsters those attained those levels are not mentioned in the novel.
If the magic beast reaches SS and above it'll be called legendary and mythical beasts. If you could see one either you're extremely lucky to the level you're entire families luck would be used or that you're totally f*cked to the extent that even the king of hell would pity you. That's how rare they are. Of course the protagonist is an exception. We don't need to dwell in that.
Ethan entered the magic beast forest with a sword hanging at his waist.
After walking some distance he found F rank beast steel legged deer which is quite agile and it's kicks were stronger.
Ethan took a posture to fight after seeing it.
The beast started to attack him after noticing him. It started to attack him by running around and giving a kick. Ethan avoided those kicks by moving around and defended using his sword when the right time came he started to use his art Flowery sword art. Ethan had just learnt the first form of the sword art.
"Flowery arts first form thorn slash".
Suddenly a pinkish straight line was for medical at the neck of the deer. It's head separate from it's body.
Ethan started hunting and started to gain proficiency in his art.
Ethan was going a little desperate into the forest. While he finished hunting and recovering. Suddenly a E rank low level beast came out.
It is Ice horned wolf which is a special entities among E ranked beasts even though it's at it's early stages. It is widely used for it's agility and ice affinity. It's extremely dangerous for beginners like him. If an awakeners gets stabbed by the ice horn their internals will get damaged due to the injection of mana with ice attribute.
Ice horned wolf looked at him and suddenly pounced at him . Ethan Dodgers it and started to run away to the area with dense trees so that he could restrict the movements of ice horned wolf.
Ice horned wolf started chasing him. Ethan started to jump from tree to tree and at the same time we would look back to see where the wolf is at.
After gaining some distance he thought of using Flowey arts but rejected it because the wolf is a level high above him. He could not easily deal with it. He then thought of using Demon king sword art although he calls that with that name he doesn't actually know it's specific name.
He then concentrated his 95℅ of his mana over his lower body and his hands. Hw then shot from his position to the where the wolf is at.
The wolf pounced at him seeing him reaching to it at a higher speed . Even though it could see him arriving it couldn't completely see his whole movements. After reaching he slashed his sword the Wolf's face at it's eyes and without slowing down he used the momentum and ran towards the exit of the forest.
