Upon her return from the hospital, Iseul became aware of her abnormal state of being. Her family, concerned for her well-being, sought to remedy her condition, but Iseul remained unchanged.
She concealed her true desires, acting in accordance with the expectations of her family, all the while indulging in her animalistic impulses.
The attention and wealth she received only served to reinforce her belief that she was superior to others and could act with impunity, doing as she pleased without facing any consequences.
Three months after their initial encounter, Iseul encountered Park Joon again when they were both enrolled in the same elementary school.
At first, she was intrigued by his friendly demeanor and seemingly perfect behavior around others. However, her interest in him waned over time.
One day, as she was retrieving a forgotten book from class, she stumbled upon a strange sight: Park Joon was laughing uncontrollably, his face flushed red, and uttering in a sinister tone, "whoever is behind that door, come inside".
Despite his jovial demeanor, there was something unsettling about the scene.
The scene in the classroom was quite unsettling, as Iseul witnessed Park Joon striking a young girl.
The act of violence was both shocking and disturbing, leaving a lasting impression on her. The laughter and dark tone of his voice only added to the eerie atmosphere, leaving Iseul feeling frightened and disturbed by what she had witnessed.
The sight of the young girl lying motionless after being struck by Park Joon filled Iseul with a mixture of fear and envy.
Despite the fear she should have felt in such a traumatic situation, all she could think about was the thrill and enjoyment that Park Joon appeared to be experiencing.
The urge to experience that same sense of excitement and power was overwhelming, causing Iseul to feel a deep sense of envy towards him.
She inquired about the situation, but he merely shrugged indifferently, as though the death of the child was of no concern to him.
However, after a moment, he chuckled and continued, '' She expressed her affection for me, and I instructed her to close her eyes for a kiss. She complied, and well, I'm sure you can imagine what happened next.'' He laughed heartily as he finished speaking.
Iseul asked the reason for her murder. At that moment, his smile faded and he briskly approached her.
He grabbed her neck and spoke in a chill tone, "Why do you act as if you care about this insignificant and worthless being?" He pushed her towards the lifeless body and whispered into her ear, "You know you should do the same as me, don't you? I'm right, aren't I?"
She succeeded in breaking free from his grasp and took a moment to think.
She then approached him and gave him a strong slap on the face, her anger fueled by the fact that she was just a 7-year-old child. She did not stop there, she kept slapping him repeatedly until she finally paused and gazed at her hands.
Joon walked towards her and with a gleeful tone, he said, "Did you see your face? You were smiling the entire time."
His cheeks were a mix of blue and red, a clear indication of the force with which she had hit him. However, she felt no remorse and instead, at that moment, she had a strong urge to kill him.
"Why are you hiding yourself?" he asked as he circled around her. Iseul felt disturbed and asked how he could do this so freely.
He then walked behind her and said, "Because my father is like us." He turned her around to face him and spoke in a charming tone, offering that he could make her dreams come true.
