"Hmm, that was definitely not what I was expecting but it's cool. He didn't force me to exert revenge on his behalf or else, he would take back his body, he didn't even care about the world any longer as he knew he can't force me to do his biddings. He is cool. I… have decided to help him with his revenge. From now on, my name is Kai Kysen, my name would be known. But first, I need to know if my big bro still alive." Kai said with a newfound determination.
"To start my revenge, I need to first find out the traitor of my family. I and my brother had never stepped out of the clan since we were born and we were kept secret from others. Only someone from the inside could betray the clan and sell info to enemies but first I need to have powers before I could do any actions." Kai contemplated on his situation.
He and his brother, ever since the clan discovered their greatness, they were nurtured and kept secret from the outside, when they reach the age of 16, they would be taken to attend an academy to become cultivators but tragedy descended before any of that could happen so he could only deduce that there was a traitor in the clan for now. Their enemies would definitely not let the Kysen clan succeed and so it was quite smart for them to launch an attack.
He stood up from the ground, staggered out of the cave before he rushed to the stream again to drink water. He was very hungry and thirsty. After getting knowing about cultivation, he also found out about dangerous creatures like the Demon Beasts that cultivates their corporal bodies.
"It's time I leave this cave. I won't become stronger by just staying in a place like this, unless I have a cheat, a golden finger. I need to leave this forest. But wait a sec, where is my golden finger? Whether am the protagonist or the antagonist, I at least need to have a golden finger right?" Kai immediately made a decision. Now that he was alive once again, he doesn't want to live his life in a forest where death came quickly than other stuffs.
Suddenly he remembered golden finger. A golden finger is a conceptual power that uniquely distinguish the MC from other characters in a novel. It can be in the form of a Secret Technique, Universal Law, Powerful Bloodline or the Legendary System etc. Kai discovered his golden finger hadn't appeared but he wasn't worried as they were some MC who got their golden finger at a late date.

The forest was divided into three regions, the Outer Region which contains wild animals, Middle Region which contains the wild beasts and the weak demon beasts, and the Inner Regions that only contains demon beasts. Demon Beasts occupied this forest and they were the overlords of the forest. That was how the forest got its name, The Safe Forest.
The reason why it's name was like that was that, unlike other forest where only the demon beasts prevails and ruled, Safe Forest was a forest that has the combinations of wild beasts(animals) and demon beasts. The strongest demon beast was an Advanced Demon Beast which could be found in the Inner Region.
"Thank goodness Kai didn't escape to the Middle Region otherwise I would have been dead multiple times with my mortal body. I am not yet a cultivator." Kai muttered while panting heavily.
At this moment, he was at the outskirts of the Outer Region of the Safe Forest. Since he took the decision to leave the cave, he traveled the direction to go back to the entrance of the forest but it wasn't easy. Even though they were no demon beasts in the outer region, the wild beasts were not beings to be underestimated, especially when he had no cultivation powers.
He encountered many wild beasts with brute force and poisonous abilities. He was only able to escape the Grim Reaper's Scythe because he was not an ordinary mortals. He used his experiences of Kai 2 (I will call the previous owner of the body Kai 2) that he found in his memories to avoid and dodge many of the wild beasts.
After many twists and turns, he finally arrived at the entrance of Safe Forest. He recalled that in the Divine Continent, there were five regions. The Southern Kingdom, Western Seas, and Central Domain. He had no knowledge of the other two regions and he also don't know about the Western Seas and Central Domain but he knows he was in the Southern Kingdom.
He rest a little before he continued his journey to the Capital City which was where the Kysen Clan were based. Kysen clan was just a small clan, so the news of them being exterminated didn't spread much as incidents like this happens everyday in the world.
Kai entered the Capital City of the Southern Kingdom and walked to a certain direction. Many people were also doing their business and Kai attracted a lot of attentions, mainly because of his ragged appearance. He looked like a beggar and as a result, some people laughed at him while others pity him. Kai didn't care about that as he had his focus on something else. He passed by many places and buildings, he didn't stop until he reached his destination.
He stopped in front of an area that was under some kind of reconstruction. This construction site was the previous Kysen clan's area. Now that his clan was eliminated, the clan's area doesn't doesn't belong to anyone but to the people who carried out the work.
Kai had a sad expression on his face. He felt some emotions welling in him but he quickly suppressed it. He would use those emotions to fuel his desire for revenge because looking at this scene made him even more angry. He took one last look at his old home before he left the place.

All of these as he weakly dragged his weak and hungry self to the unknown.
"I have to eat, like right now otherwise" Kai muttered as his stomach rang in protest.
He stopped in front of a small snack store. The owner of the restaurant was a middle-age woman named Mrs Lane. Kai chose to come here because he had hope of begging from her. He overheard that she was a kind person who lost her husband and kids due to an unfortunate accident.
Kai looked at Mrs Lane who was busy in the snack store and steeled his heart as he approached the snack store to beg for food. Suddenly his view started going downward to the ground as he came near the store.
"Oh shit, i became hungrier" Kai thought as he understood something. Kai had successfully fainted due to being extremely hungry. He fainted in front of Mrs Lane's Snack Store.
