Chapter 133 - Han Fei - The Maniac

A crazy plan arose in Han Fei's mind, if this plan could succeed, then he could successfully take down the convenience store, but as long as one step went wrong, he would die a very ugly death.

"Fame and fortune are at the tip of the sword, wealth and riches are at stake, you're right, this opportunity can't be missed."

Han Fei's eyes slowly narrowed, covering the dangerous light deep within his pupils.

"It always feels like what you're thinking, and what I'm saying might not be the same thing!" The human face on the white wax was already distorted, it just wanted to escape the convenience store, "The paper man store manager is very dangerous, you just need to take me away and let's escape far away, that's enough! You mustn't get any unwanted ideas!"

"I'm just a temporary worker on my first day of work, what superfluous thoughts can I have?" Han Fei stared dead at the ash, "You've been here for a long time, you should know where that woman came from, right? What kind of place is the dead building she and the store manager are going to tonight?"

"The Dead Building is arguably the most dangerous building in this area, next to a hospital two blocks away, the woman in the dowry is from the Dead Building, she used to be a resident amongst the Dead Building." The human face in the white wax pinned all his hopes on Han Fei, and at this time honestly answered Han Fei's question, "The blood and flesh that the woman searched for the store manager was brought out from the fourth floor."

"The hospital two blocks away?" Han Fei recalled the map in his mind, the only hospital around here was called Yimin Hospital, and the previous building manager had drawn a red cross there as well.

"You don't think the store manager is in a hospital two blocks away and there's no way to get back immediately, do you?" The human face in the white wax was full of helplessness, "If the store manager's body is threatened, or if it is moved or touched, then its consciousness will return to its body using some kind of special method, and it's very careful and prudent, and it definitely won't easily let its body be in danger."

"Then is there a way to block its consciousness from returning?"

"That depends on whether or not its opponents are powerful, if the ghosts and monsters it fights with are able to stall its consciousness so that it can't be distracted, then it will be able to slow down the speed of its return. Another method is to make his consciousness become confused and crazy, when it is in such a state, there is no way for its consciousness to perceive the main body so clearly." White Wax felt that conversing with Han Fei was very dangerous, it was almost like setting off fireworks in an arsenal, "If there are no other questions, then let's hurry up and get going! I promise to be able to help you ease the pain caused by the curse!"

"Was the paper man shopkeeper not that strong to begin with?" Han Fei once again asked White Wax to make sure about this.

"It's just a cursed object that possessed its own consciousness, and the vast majority of its power was accumulated little by little."

"There are the remnant souls of many shopkeepers sealed on the walls of the back alley, why didn't the shopkeeper drive them to death?"

"The resentment in the residual souls can enhance its strength, and the tiny bit of humanity left in the residual souls can make it become more like a human being." The white wax knew that Han Fei wouldn't help itself without making it clear, it had to patiently answer Han Fei's doubts, "In other words, the consciousness of the store manager contains the consciousness and humanity of those countless remnants of souls, and those consciousnesses and humanity don't belong to it, they were just forcibly taken away from it by it using a curse to sign a contract."

"If you want to work here, you need to take a photo first, then pin the photo to the paper man, which is a process of placing a curse! Once the curse is complete, the paper man store manager can take away your humanity at any time." White Wax persuaded bitterly, "Let's hurry while it's still unsuspecting of you! As long as you are far enough away from the cursed object, the effectiveness of that curse will diminish, which is why the store manager forbids his employees from leaving the store!"

"Looks like it's the same as I thought, the store manager's consciousness fuses the humanity of all the employees, as long as I can gather all the employees together to rebel, then I can bring a certain amount of influence to the store manager. Normally this little bit of influence might not be much to the store manager, but if it's at a time of life and death struggle, a slight distraction will expose it to a fatal breach, and it might even be able to send its consciousness into a frenzy." All of Han Fei's plans were aimed at stopping the shopkeeper from returning to its original form, and he needed to buy some time.

"I can't imagine that it's your first day working here, and for the store manager to have recruited you, it's kind of its bad fate." The human face in the white wax was a bit scared of Han Fei.

"Don't talk about those useless things, I'm doing this to help everyone." Picking up the candlestick on the table, he walked over to the coffin, "How am I going to tell if the store manager is injured through the paper person itself?"

" When the store manager explodes with full force, the Scarlet Paper Man will suck up the blood from those corpses in the coffin, and black characters will emerge from its main body." White Wax had already given up struggling and decided to follow Han Fei's path to the black.

"Then you should watch here first." Han Fei placed the candlestick on the coffin lid and ran into the staff preparation room alone.

"Hey! Don't put me here!"

"Are ghosts still afraid of coffins?" Han Fei replied perfunctorily, then tore down all the photos on the walls of the staff preparation room.

He took those photos to the back alley and looked at the uneasy remnant of a ghost on the wall as he first told the current situation inside the convenience store.

When these imprisoned convenience store employees knew that the store manager was no longer inside the store at this time, when everyone knew that the store manager might be seriously injured, some of them had already begun to move.

"Seniors, these pictures are the deeds you once signed."

"If the store manager really wanted to run this store properly, then I wouldn't say a word. But now you all can see that it threatened us, put a spell on our bodies, stripped us of our humanity, and imprisoned us on top of the walls!"

"It drained us of all our value, and it's still not even willing to let us go!"

"It has gotten the better of us, and everything we have has become a bargaining chip to threaten us in the hands of the store manager!"

"Are you guys really willing to keep enduring like this? Are you guys really willing to be tortured by it little by little until your souls fall apart?"

Han Fei's emotions grew fuller and more impassioned, his voice resounding, his every word so firm.

"It can't go on like this, it really can't. Tonight is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we're going to make it pay!"

Han Fei clenched his fist with one hand, while his other hand was gently placed on the wall, "My strength alone is limited, but if we can join forces, we should be able to fight for a chance."

"Whether to continue to be trapped in the wall and endure the torture and pain, or to rise up and fight like the moths that flutter to the flames, all the choices are up to you."

"I won't force you to choose, I will walk at the forefront of you, even if I'm the only one, I will stand out tonight without any hesitation!"

After a few seconds passed, Han Fei suddenly felt his arm become a bit heavier, and he twisted his head to look and found a strip of hands that were about to dissipate sticking out of the middle of the wall.

They couldn't completely leave the wall, and stretching out their arms was already the limit.

Seeing so many people supporting him, Han Fei himself was shocked, he didn't expect the shopkeeper to have hurt so many ghosts.

"I won't fail everyone's trust."

Standing in the back alley, Han Fei spoke out his plan.

He had communicated with the remnants of the ghosts left behind by all the staff, and as long as he gave the order, the insignificant remnants of the ghosts would do their best to resist the paper man with their last strength.

After discussing the plan, Han Fei returned to the middle of the convenience store's warehouse.

He stuffed the white wax into his pocket and then placed all the containers against the wall, leaving a path empty.

"What are you doing?"

"Is this coffin heavy? It looks a lot smaller than a normal coffin." Han Fei began to move his arms.

"Why are you asking this? Friend, what are you doing!"

"The more powerful the cursed item is, the stronger the curse it emits will be, and direct contact may affect us." Han Fei took a deep breath as he walked back into the storage room and pushed the shelves outside to the sides.

Once all was ready, Han Fei stood next to the coffin, his eyes fixed on the paper man.

Time passed by minute by minute, and Han Fei's forehead was sweating with nervousness, until at a little more than three o'clock in the morning, a crack suddenly appeared on the paper man in the coffin, and it began to crazily absorb the blood from the corpse inside the coffin!

As the blood was injected, a black person's name began to emerge on its body!

"It's now!" Han Fei kicked open the door of the garbage disposal room and shouted at the back alley.

A crippled soul hissed, and the entire street heard the voices of the dead!

The paper man in the coffin was storing up its strength until the critical moment, and suddenly as if it had lost control, the cracks on its body grew more and more, and the smile on its face completely disappeared, becoming abnormally hideous.

"The time has come!"

Han Fei closed the lid of the coffin and carried it with all his might.

His spine creaked from the pressure, and Han Fei's expression was completely distorted as he carried the coffin with the bloody paper man on his back and desperately rushed towards the outside of the convenience store!

"Get out of my way, all of you!"
