Chapter 1 - Exibitionist

*Help* Screamed a Magess from the very top of her longs, the noise of which washed all across the street.

It seemed to have even travelled afar, for within moments a beam of great grande came shooting forward.

It collided into the torso of a brown manticore of a bipedal persuasion, blasting through its torso when it raised its palm to maim her with its claws.

She was not the only one that watched on in shock when it was easily cleaved in two. The might of this power even shook the ground, causing much of the surrounding the guards to lose their footing.

What remains of it now was a chunk of its upper lobe that crashed unto the ground as its body continue to keel forward; thus the damsel choose to get out of the way along with the three other individuals she had shielded with her magic.

"Are you alright?" A masculine voice of unknown familiarity asked in the distance.

They followed the voice, only to be in awe when they saw a figure descending towards them from the sky.

However before she could ask "Who?". Her eyes shifted; nearly bulging out of her eye sockets whilst her face simultaneously began to flush with heat when his presence was more easily visible for them.

Her Savior judged is probably a young man with a very masculine frame; he's dark skinned, chiseled & sculpted, where he looks to stand well over 6.7ft (2.04 m) tall. She unable to give any deecription of his facial features nor his head since they were both covered by a brown helm structured out of a material she was unable to make out apart from it looking as if it bared the texture of wood, where's the top of it held the mimicry of antlers like that of a fully grown buck, unaware whether or not they were real.

She commended to herself the green tattoo's that resemble runes that coursed from his chest, where it was in conjunction to his limbs. They were brimming with energy. Gauntlet and Greaves that seemwd to be constructed of hardened crystals of a similar gloss were also being fitted around his limbs.

'Was he a fairy? Was he a elfin? An unknown wood entity or a god by that display of power?' they honestly could not tell with these puzzling judgements coursing through their minds, but if there's any consolation to all of this, its:

*Why is he naked?* And even though he was not quite so, he sported quite the sizable bulge that covered by a shell of some kind, beginning from the base and all the way down, made of the same emerald like substance such as his armaments . His orbs was also shielded, but the bare minimum does not make such exposure any more bettwr..

"I came as soon as I heard…" She judged by his tone that he was indeed displaying genuine concern.

He stood before her grounded and upright like a well-trained soldier, and his features are far more magnified up close that electricity was coursing through certain places at an inappropriate time like this.

"Erm- yes, am fine…thank you." She exclaimed very quick whilst turning away with a flush.

The savior was happy to hear, but he was not ignorant of the reactions he's receiving from everyone else, as if they're observing an exotic animal of dome kind.

'It's been so long that i have nearly forgotten how civilization on the outside are highly emotional when it comes to shame.' He murmured to himself, fully knowing that his dress code itself if you can call it that at all was causing a bit of a controversy.

But he doesn't care, he is very proud of what he is, and doesn't mind showing it, having a lack of shame, or lack the inhibition to exaggerate it.

He blew softly, taking this moment to look at the surrounding visions, picking up that they were, in fact, in a village that had faced massive turmoil where more than several of this villages houses was scorched.

Being here was not his intention when he had already selected a path for himself, but looking at the one that called out to him…

He now considers everything about it up to this point:

'I was allowed to leave the High Garden for a time since I wanted to visit this world again' He began summarizing as he thinks deeply.

'I wanted to reach the Dam Wall to see if I can retrace my steps from there, even to reunite with my family, but for some reason this young woman's scream reached out to me.' This was when she was sure that his gaze barred heavily unto her.

"Is something the matter?" She asked, nervous for not knowing his mind, but knew that he was examining her.

He had passed through several civilizations on his way here, where some were in great calamity of their own, yet he paid no attention to them.

But this woman, her screams reached out so far that he sensed it from such a far out distance, it even touched his soul that he felt that it was within his instinct to help the damsel.

"Unless…" He allowed that to slip, which alerted her a little, even more so when he closed the distance between them.

She repeated, 'What do I do?' In her head repeatedly as she was consistently losing her bearing to not stare down.

"Hmm?" He decrystalized his right hand and held it upon her chain as he began gently rubbing it.

At first, she was startled, but within moments it felt rather nice to her that they both manage to slip "This feels very familiar." At the same time, an exchange that committed a pregnant pause between them.

The Guards spectating this does not know what's going on, some of them still cannot steer away from glancing at his appendages.

The savior, on the other hand, began his recollection; he saw that the girl in question was short, with clear skin in differentiation to his, light-brown hair that's styled into a ponytail, and blue eyes.

Plain off-white golden button-down shirt with an asymmetrical collar, a blue combat skirt and black shoes alongside black leg wear. She also adorned a short open robe whilst holding a staff within her right grasp.

Something caught his eye when he examined her closely, and his eyes grew wider when he peered at the plastic necklace that she had placed around her neck.

He reached out his hand, grasping onto it. She felt no bad intentions when he did, but was confused when he looked at her necklace with sentiment.

"I recognized this…" When he uttered his surprise , she likewise bulge with shock.

"You do?" She questioned whilst beginning to draw a conclusion of her own.

"Yes-I remember buying this with petty changes when i was little. I gave it to a friend I held dear to me!" He smiled fondly when remembering these good memories that are coming back to him.

"Good Times." But he didn't just say it idly, he also remembered carving their initials behind of it and the moment he turned and saw it, tears slowly began to run down his face.

This came as a shocking revelation to the mage, that she reached out to his helm, and he dropped town to allowing her to hold it.

'He heard my scream from a far, he made a gesture of someone who was dear to me, and claim to have given me this memoir. I didn't want to believe it but could this be' Many feelings & emotions washing through her head.

The final confirmation came when he dematerialised his helm that she felt his warm face, bearing witness to a very beautiful man tearing with a smile. He asked her;

"Is that you, Amelia?" And by these words she began weaping as well.

"Eric...it's you… it really is you?" She was bawling her eyes out, embracing this man who was once dear to her, as he bowed and stoned his head upon her chest.

It has been nearly a decade since the two have seen each other ever since the sudden doom of their village, that they later found other homes.

They tried through life wondering what happened to the other, even imagining worse that one of them might've died, but it seemed that fate had brought them back together.

The guards looked at this scenery and thought that the atmosphere had shifted from doom, to utter awkwardness and just straight up wholesome.

That is, as long as they ignored how vulgar it actually looked.
