Background
Not much is known before he came to light in 2012. In those years, everyone was either starving or getting killed for a very little amount of money, everyone was unemployed no one had enough money to feed their family.
Sukaphaa made his money from paying Cochin's Local gang Mob called "Hacksaw". The leader of the "Hacksaw" was "Vitto" a man feared by many, with a big scar from his eyes to his chin and a long mustache he was known to kill anyone to get enough money for booze, the local authorities feared him the most cause he is known to get out of jail somehow and kill the policeman that arrested him, Sukaphaa somehow befriends "Vitto" and gave him more men which led to the group called "Hacksaw", they named it hacksaw cause hacksaw blade was the cheapest to kill and throw away. Though it takes some time to kill the person sometimes leaving the person alive for hours just suffering, no one has any money to take them to the hospital. The work gets done!!.
Sukaphaa used Hacksaw to kill many important people for the ruling political party of Cochin.
Someone from the party that he met before goes to the local bar owned by sukaphaa, and after drinking a beer they leave the details on the receipt and leave it on the table, he goes to hacksaw's hideout, and the hit gets complete on the same night, the money gets delivered to him through the alcohol restock vehicle, just instead of alcohol some cardboard box comes completely full of cash.
Everyone was happy, the party can rule without any opposition, "Hacksaw" members got new equipment now instead of using hacksaws they used guns! and enough money to live a nice life with their families, and more importantly, it made Sukaphaa very rich.
He started investing his money in local businesses, he had money invested in pet shops, restaurants, toy shops, coffee shops, massage parlors, and his most important business a packers and movers company that he use for moving weapons and cash.
This made him famous, especially among the locals, when the government was busy with corruption, Sukaphaa started to give people a way to earn money to fill their stomachs, and people started to worship him.
He made an empire.
The stores and parlours worked as a front to launder cash for his underground businesses, he had a piece of everything from Gambling, and arms trafficking to illicit fishing, illegal art trade, and counterfeiting but he was not very fond of drugs he thought drugs make workers lazy, and addicts are hard to control, which is extremely bad for business.
Sukaphaa was never seen with the mobs, he made sure to keep his name clean and made them do the dirty work but he was on good terms with Vitto, they were often seen in a pub called "Old Monk!" playing poker
Everyone was afraid to cross Sukaphaa cause, they feared retribution from Vitto. They both loved gambling, so Sukaphaa gifted him a champion horse for $100,000 and named him Tehran. The horse had a fine stable built for him, the best vets and horse breeders that money could buy, and even a small team to guard him 'round the clock'. Vitto was especially very attached to the horse.
All this got the attention of the Ruling party, they saw Sukaphaa's popularity as a threat and planned to arrest them at Vitto's birthday party where both of them will be present.
They started planning everything, even sending spies to know where the birthday party will be held, but Sukaphaa got the news and meet Vitto in secret. They decided it was best for Vitto to go inside prison for a few months to calm down the ruling party.
With the Central Bureau (CBI) on their tail was extremely hard for them to run their business. Vitto agreed and went to jail at his birthday party, and Sukaphaa went underground for some time but continued to run his business.
Sukaphaa had money but now he needed power, his greed for power became clear so he started to get involved in politics, he befriended the opposition party leader and started to give large sums of cash donations to the opposition party he started openly challenging the ruling party.
The ruling party was not happy but couldn't do anything to him because Sukaphaa in those past months when he went underground destroyed any information relating him to the underworld, Even with constant raids done by the party in his home and business they couldn't find any piece of evidence that they can use to arrest him.
But this helped Sukaphaa in front of the media and the public started to like him even more, with his help in the "2017" Cochin State election, he led "The Indra people party" to a landslide victory.
The party leader liked Sukaphaa a lot and started to take him to private party meetings, where he moved everyone's heart with his speech and ideas. Sukaphaa started to handle party day-to-day activities.
He bribed the judges to reduce Vitto's sentence to only 1 year, he had already spent 7 months in prison, and the news made headlights in the newspapers but Sukaphaa somehow silenced the news and it only got out to local media.
The opposition party got the news of Vitto and tried to use it against Sukaphaa, by filling the case in Supreme Court but Sukaphaa bribed and threatened the witnesses as a result it didn't make any dent in his image, but the opposition suffered heavy media backlash.
This power struggle went back and front until the chief minister suddenly died and "Sukaphaa" was made the new Chief Minister of Cochin.
After he was made Chief minister he consolidates his power by purging many top officials, he brutally eliminated potential rivals and punished perceived insubordination.
He started to make big changes within years he made Cochin one of the wealthiest states in Indra. This attracted the eye of "The Democratic National Congress." The ruling party of Indra.
This is only the start of Sukaphaa's greed for power.
