Concerned that Director Wang would be worried, Li An'an called her. "Director Wang, I've got the jade pendant. Song Li stole it."
"This muddle-headed woman." Director Wang cursed. Song Li had been working in the orphanage for many years. She did not expect her to do such a thing.
"I'll punish her. An'an, where are you staying now? I'd like to come and see you."
Li An'an told her the address, as she was keen to see Director Wang as well. Then, she coaxed the children to sleep.
The doorbell rang and she went to open the door. Director Wang was standing there anxiously. "An'an, it's really you. It's great to see that you're fine." Director Wang was so excited that she was incoherent.
Li An'an's eyes reddened as she invited Director Wang into the house.
