Chu Yichen, on the other hand, was sober. From being intoxicated, his vision turned sharp immediately. He grabbed Li An'an's arm and pulled her into his arms, bringing her soft body close to his firm chest. He was strong, and he felt like strangling this woman to death.
"It hurts." Li An'an frowned. "It hurts. Let go of me. You're hurting me."
Chu Yichen sneered when he saw her face scrunching up and her eyes filling with tears. "So you know what pain is. I thought you're heartless."
"Of course I know pain. I know, you're still angry because I scolded you the last time, right? But I really have reasons for not being able to go with you. I wasn't doing it on purpose."
"What reason? I want to know what reason is more important than me," Chu Yichen asked coldly.
Li An'an lowered her head. She couldn't mention the children. The children were all she had. She didn't want to lose them.
