It was rare to hear these people's apologies, and Olivia Jenkins was filled with a multitude of feelings, her eyes becoming slightly red.
She decided not to dwell on the past, not to fuss over it anymore.
After the meeting ended, Olivia returned to her office, followed shortly by Valerie Howard.
"Olivia, have you watched that suspense drama that's been playing recently? It's so good, and kinda scary too."
Olivia asked casually, "What's the plot? I've been too busy lately, no time to watch. Even if I do have time, it's spent with my daughter."
Mentioning Star Marshall, Valerie's face lit up with a sweet smile, "Olivia, I really adore Star, she's so cute. After work, I'll come over to your place for dinner and to see Star, I've bought her a little gift."
Olivia's beautiful face radiated sheer bliss, her gentle gaze flickering as she peered at the photo of her daughter on the desk, "Star thanks her little auntie, and later we'll go back to Pearl Lake together."
