"I was faking it! I knew that some despicable people wouldn't back down, so I fabricated a convincing performance. Now, you're the first one to show your true colors." The old man's piercing gaze was filled with a brutal chill, an unmistakable threat.
With utter contempt, Edward sneered, "Brother, you're as cunning as ever, a real fox!"
The old man wore a grim facade, his voice chilly, "Enough! What shady business have you been up to recently?"
Edward snorted with icy derision and stammered a defense, "I did nothing, brother. Are you framing me now? Are you treating our father fairly? Or respecting the ancestors of the Marshall Family?"
