Closing her eyes, Lilith takes a deep breath. "Why am I even telling you this? Ah, guess I always wanted to monologue like the villains in classical movies." Sitting down, she snaps her fingers.
Two dark-cloaked individuals fall from the ceiling and bow to Lilith. "Shadow!"
Waving her hand, she points at me. "Take him to the Darkness, he has potential." Grabbing me by the hands, they tried to drag me out, but if there was something I knew. It was that I didn't want to know what this darkness was.
Lifting my body, and spinning, I Wrap my legs around the neck of the male figure. Getting a good grip, I twist my face, causing his neck to make a loud cracking sound. "No, you don't!"
Lilith stretches her hand into the dark ink, but now only held by one hand. I do something I copied from Raven. "Human meat shield!" Pushing the other one, into the ink. I suddenly see her scream in terrible pain.
"Bastard!" Is all Lilith could get out before, I ran out of the room only grabbing the blade off the ground.
Sprinting with all I got, I see the receptionist get in my way. Worrying about all the possibilities, I fail to notice her shadow grow from beneath her feet.
Stepping onto her small shadow, it suddenly shot up "Ghaa!" Piercing my leg, I pulled my leg off, only to see another spike fly at me from the wall. "Look, I don't have the time!"
Hearing Lilith's high heels slowly echo through the hall, I draw my blade ready to cut down anything in my path... Wait, that's actually a great plan!
Taking a defensive stand, she prepares to face my attack, I charge her only to cut the wall next to me. Swinging my sword down to weaken the walls, I then bash through them using my shoulder as a battering ram.
getting through a few of the layers, I hear Lilith's steps speed up. Seeing me cut through the building, she started to take me more seriously. Finally cutting the last wall, I arrive outside the main building.
Getting weird looks from the people, I do the only thing I can to warn them. "Criminals!" At first not get it, they suddenly see the wall get blasted by black goo.
"Ken~! Don't run from me. There's no point to it." Ignoring her warning, I move my leg only to stop.
"Ella, you like that girl don't you?" Turnign to face her, I could hear the hurried steps of volunteers behind me. "Run away! Protect the civilians!"
Taking a step closer to Lilith, I could see her smile wickedly. "That's it, Don't do anything harsh now, we don't want you doing something which would lead to their suffering, now do we?"
Swallowing my nervousness, I face Lilith. "You will play dirty like that!?"
Getting a shrug from her, I hear her say. "It's 10:00, You have till midnight to make your choice, after the time is up, you will either come willingly or forcefully, good luck, Ken~"
Seeing her turn around and try to walk away from the carnage she caused, some of the volunteers try to rush her, but quick shouts from their captain Alex stop them. "Don't! Can't use see she's leaving willingly? if we wanted we couldn't even harm her!"
Getting some of them to stop others try to come a little too close for Liltih's comfort.
*Crack!* Smashing her extended hand of ink into their chest, they're flung into the wall of a building.
"Make the right choice, Ken." Walking away through the rubber I'm stuck thinking about what she said. Looking around the carnage, I decide to leave before someone tries to question me.
Going back to Will's shop to see, Ella. I stop at a sudden calling of my name. "Ken, be careful."
"Ravne?!" Turning around to look for the source of the voice, I only find empty streets and alleys. It was as if the voice of the death warned me of the future.
Shaking my head, I return to my original path. Arriving at the store, I push the door open. "Ken, you're back! Did you find what you wanted?" Seeing Ella cook some pastries, I feel my beating heart calm down a bit.
"Yeah, I think I finished everything." The deal..... when should I tell her? My worry seeping through, I can see her break into tears. "Ken..." Running into my arms, I hug her and ask what's wrong, only to get a response from Will.
"I told her, I listened in on your and Lilith's conversation." Looking Ella, in the eyes, I hear her whisper. "I don't want you to leave, not now, it's too soon!"
Wrapping my arms around her, I slowly rub her back trying to calm her down. "Don't worry, I promise I won't leave." I will see what it's about and then come back, nothing will go wrong.
Yeah, nothing will go wrong. Lying to myself. I close my eyes and hug her tighter.
"It's going to be fine, I swear." 14 hours, they won't do something until then. Sitting down at the table, Will serves us a salad for some food.
"Don't be too depressed you too, You love birds still got some time."
Yeah a time that's running out.....
