After Rin and Rose had escaped the crowd, they kept down their belongings and sat down to rest.
"That was really embarrassing" Said Rose "Next time you'll have to be careful of what you say" She added
"What is wrong with these people in the first place" said Rin as he removed a piece of bread and begun to have his feast. While feasting, a shadow which kept growing taller and taller appeared before them.
"Your sister is right Kid; you'll have to watch out next time." They both turned towards the direction of the shadow while the figure drew closer and closer. When he was finally in sight, the saw a middle-aged man dressed in rich clothes. Rin did not say a word and neither did Rose
"My name is Klein. You really gave me the laugh of a lifetime out there. you're a very funny kid." He said while laughing at Rin once more.
"Did you just come to tease me, old man," said Rin
"Old man? Isn't that a little too harsh. I'm not even married yet"
"Please tell us what you want, or leave. My brother here has quite the temper." Said Rose
"So, you really don't come from around here. Alright then, I'll go straight to the point. You two have gained my interest, so i want to help you achieve your goals, that is if you can really become a royal knight.
"Really old man, you really would do that," said Rin
"Drop the old man or I'll change my mind concerning you."
"Your offer is quite tempting Mr Klein. May I know your reason for helping us?" Asked Rose
"Let's just say that you two look promising and I can tell why you came to raven hill just by looking at you. You're Rose and Rin, right?" He asked
"Old man how do you know out names?"
"An old friend told me you two would be coming to raven hill, so I prepared"
"I don't quite understand all what you're saying but i like the sound of it. It's a yes," said Rin
"I guess that goes for you too" He said turning to Rose " Then she nodded
"Wonderful. Starting tomorrow, you two would enroll in Raven academy by recommendation. Follow me, I'll get you a place to sleep."
