That fire bolt penetrated my chest ten minutes ago, but I feel nothing different. I've been attempting to reach that little dragon with no success.
Humm. It's cool under this shade. I will sit here and rest. My legs are killing me. That little runt will eventually show up.
Just a little rest...
"...ed."
"Wake... p... ed."
"Hey, you alright... Wake up, Fred..."
Who is calling my name? Huh?
I jumped up and looked around. I was sitting in front of the container, and Tsunade was standing beside me, calling my name.
"What happened?" I inquired. I must have dozed off under that tree. I have no recollection of exiting that tunnel or the tower. Something must have activated the exit mechanism.
"I have no idea. The moment you touched that slab of rock, we were teleported out of that tower," answered Tsunade with a confused look.
"How long was I out?" I asked.
"A minute or so," replied Tsunade.
A minute!
I was trapped in that hellhole for hours if not days. Although my recollections are hazy, I am certain that I was trapped in that dungeon for more than a few minutes. There can only be one explanation.
Time flows differently inside a dungeon.
"You seen my wand?" I asked as I looked around.
"Here," Tsunade is holding it before me.
"Thanks," I took it from her hand.
My eyes fell on my wrist. I don't remember picking this up. I wanted to pick a better wand than the basic one that the System gave to cast spells more efficiently. Instead, I somehow ended up with an Omnitrix. I was going to pick it up next time anyway... well, I will get a wand next time.
Now that I see it properly, it's an Omnitrix. The green and black hourglass and two small buttons on the side. Yup, it's an Omnitrix, no doubt about that. But it's different from what I saw in the animated series.
"What are you planning to do now?" asked Tsunade.
[Booom!] [Rumble!]
A massive explosion shook the building. I can hear small explosions coming from outside.
"I intend to save the planet. But first, let's deal with whatever's creating this commotion," I exclaimed. This is the perfect opportunity to test this watch.
We ran to the roof. And what I saw took my breath away in a bad way. I knew things were worse with zombies but this... I never expected this. I mean, there isn't much of a village left to see.
Giant walls, like that from the Attack on the Titans, encircled the entire village. The houses, well, there aren't any in decent shape. Everything is in shambles.
As far as I can see, the people of this village were living in small shabby stone homes with tiny doors and windows protected by iron and barbwires. Huh?! I can see all that clearly from this far away! Were my eyes always this good? People are rushing towards us, and fire explosions are occurring near the wall.
So, this is what a zombie apocalypse looks like in real life. Even with that huge ass wall, some bastards still managed to infiltrate the village. Let's see how far I can see.
Humm. I can see a massive hole in the wall. And there were four giant creatures, twice the size of a tiger.
Bears!
The four giant bears seem dead since their guts are spilling out, yet they are moving and smashing everything in their way. What's fascinating is that they're moving and jumping around at a breakneck pace. And there is something weird shining on their body.
An armor!
If so, then these freaks are mutated zombie animals.
I never knew a bear could jump and run like that... Well, except for that cocaine bear. I guess mutated fucks are different.
Two ninja girls with giant dogs are attacking them, trying to push them toward the wall.
The older one has long, spiky, untamed brown hair, vertical slit-like pupils, and elongated canine teeth and nails. She also has fang markings on her cheeks, over her eyes, and a dark shade of purple lipstick. She is wearing the standard outfit of a Konoha shinobi consisting of a flak jacket and a black suit underneath with the sleeves rolled up and bandages around her legs.
The younger girl has a long brown ponytail with two locks of hair framing her face over her large, black eyes. She is wearing a light shade of lipstick and has fang-like tattoos on both of her cheeks, in addition to a tattoo on her upper right arm resembling a flower. She is wearing a form-fitting variation of the Konoha flak jacket without chest pockets, and the front of her jacket is unzipped, exposing her cleavage.
Dang! The details are so clear. I am seeing everything from this far away, crystal clear. This is awesome.
The older girl with the dog launched an attack. They turned into two rapidly spinning wheels and rushed toward one of the bears, but the bear dashed forward and slammed them with its giant paw, sending them flying.
She vaulted over, regaining her balance. Her hand is bleeding. That's a nasty wound, and it's over for her. Getting wounded by a zombie will result in the spread of infection. She will turn into a zombie in a few minutes... unless someone cures her. Well, that's what I know.
While four ninjas are attacking the bears with fireballs.
The young girl with the dog ran over to the injured girl, but she stopped her from approaching her. Then she tore off her shirt and tightly wrapped it around her arm.
"Damn those animals," Tsunade grumbled angrily and dashed toward the zombies.
I don't see the major powerhouse of the Konoha village. Something isn't right. Just how many of them are alive, I wonder. Taking care of bears like these should be child's play for them, but they are struggling. Where is Naruto? His tailed beast could have blown them away. I don't see Sasuke or the Uchihas.
Whatever it is, first, let's stop those freaks before anyone gets killed.
"Time to see what aliens I got," I pressed the two buttons together. A holographic image appeared on the screen of the watch. Now, rotating this dial will show me, different aliens.
Cool!
No, not you, nope... I need something that can fly. Ah! Big chill.
I looked around. It seems the people have gathered within the building's barricade, and there is no one on the roof. I can't believe I am about to yell this like a little kid, but...
"It's hero time." I smashed the dial.
[Wooosh!] A blinding green light burst out from the Omnitrix, and the transformation was over.
"Hahaha! So, this is how it feels to transform," My voice seems shrill and ghastly.
I got wings, and I can fly! I know how to fly. It seems the information about how to use the powers of this alien is being fused with my body. I already knew about its abilities, but with this extra information, I can utilize it without any unnecessary trials.
The wings on my back feel natural. It's as if they were there from the begenning. Well, no point wasting any more time.
I flapped my wings and flew toward the zombies. I would have screamed like a little kid if I was alone, but sadly ninjas and people were hiding below me.
I arrived at the attack location together with Tsunade. Dang! She is fast.
I rushed toward the wounded girl.
"Show me your arm," I said.
"Waah!" She got scared by my sudden appearance and punched my face hard. The other ninjas scattered away and were about to launch an attack on me.
"Stop!" Tsunade stopped them, "He is with us."
"Rawwrrrr!!!"
The zombie bears roared. The ninjas were continuously throwing fire balls at them. Why the hell don't they use other elements?
"Hey, I am an ally," I forcefully grabbed her wounded arm and blew some air. Her hand froze up to her shoulder, "Don't move and stay like this. I might have a way to cure you, but first... Let me kill these zombies."
I remember, Omnitrix can fix mutated DNA. And this zombie this is also a form of mutation. So, I might just be able to erase this virus from her body.
"Lady Tsunade," I flew toward her, "Clear the area. I will take care of them."
"Fall back," Tsunade yelled.
Everyone in the area jumped back. Tsunade took the wounded girl in her arms and jumped back.
"It's freezing time," I flew above and inhaled as much air as I could. Then I blew it all together down on the ground above the bears. White smoke covered the area, and the temperature began to fall. I can feel the cold on my skin. It's kinda satisfying. Earlier, it was too warm, but now, the temperature is perfect.
Within a few seconds, the cold white smoke cleared. The bears and the ground below was completely frozen in ice.
Now, to smash them into smithereens, give me something explosive, Omnitrix. I moved the dial once and slammed it again. Another flash of green light appeared, turning me into...
Well, fuck!
What is this fucking smell?!
