It has been one year since Jessica arrived in this world. At first, she was struggling to survive with one spell. Now, she leveled up to 30 from hunting beasts. She also unlocked new recipes. She can refine flowers and grass to form it into pill shaped consumables. This pills increase her hidden status that makes her stronger. However, she cannot refine a pill that increase her magic output. Only her physical trait.
She fought thousands of species in many places. Her most powerful spell is the max leveled Rock Bullet, which evolved to Rock Burst. Rock Burst allows her to rapid fire giant Rock Bullet at 3 shots in one go. This of course spends her mana very quick so increasing her INT is the top priority.
She has other spells in her reserve, such as Fireball, Thunderbolt, Heal, and Mana Charge, all at level 3. These spells are situational as the fireball is a dangerous spell that can harm it's user and the environment. The same case goes for the Thunderbolt as it tends to scatter and gets alot of attention. The Heal is self-explanatory because of its use. Most important is the Mana Charge which will help recover her mana points more quickly.
In her travels, she encountered humans. She would communicate with them for information although she was deemed suspicious many times before. Jessica can describe that the towns are built like ancient china. And it appears like the setting is Xianxia world. There are cultivators and demons in this world.
Jessica apparently has no spiritual root, which caused her being mocked. She doesn't even care if she cannot cultivate. She has her own leveling system. Being treated as Mortal is a blessing, because no one will mind her. Yet she needed to do many odd jobs just so she can earn a plate of food for her to eat. She was struggling to use a chopstick because she wasn't used to it. After all, she isn't Asian.
One day, Jessica visits a small town. It is a peaceful town but at noon, it was being raided by bandits. "Kill all the men and grab all the women!" shouted by a scoundrel. Everyone is panicked except for Jessica. She has gotten used go it. "Hey! There is a beautiful lady over here! Grab her!" shouted by the punk.
Jessica sighed and dropped her bag. She is ready to fight. "Come and get me!" shouted Jessica with a roar. The bandits laughed out loud because of what Jessica said. "Look at this mortal. She is fighting us with no weapons. She must have lost her mind." said by the sleazeball.
This sleazeball runs toward Jessica with no regard. "Bear my children woman!" the sleazeball shouted shamelessly. Jessica aims toward the sleazeball and used Rock Burst. This completely punctured holes to her target, which shocked everyone. "What in the world just happened?!" shouted the scoundrel. "Everyone attack that bitch!" yelled by the meathead.
Every bandit charge toward Jessica. Jessica smiles and fights the bandit with ease. Her Rock Burst pretty much overwhelmed the bandits. "How?! What the hell are you?! How can you kill the Golden Cores with no Realm?!" shouted by the bandit. Jessica answered, "Because I am a Mage."
