The pair's night assault on the Empire's reinforcements concluded after they had destroyed fifty-four Imperial mechas. They had to declare the mission over due to the fact that outpost 1840 had dispatched at least four hundred Imperial mechas.
The retreat process was smooth and uneventful. Taking advantage of their mechas' superior performance, they successfully avoided threatening enemy forces, crossed 1840 outpost's defensive line once again, and after conveniently destroying an Imperial high-altitude artillery position, they returned to outpost 1837.
Up until this point, Cadelin remained unaware of what Ji Xinghe had said to the Federation mecha warriors, whose number had already exceeded thirty thousand, while commanding the battle.
