"You're already a general, and yet you still act so recklessly."
It wouldn't quite be accurate to say he was filled with resentment, but there was certainly some dissatisfaction. He had joined the army and gained fame before Ji Xinghe, had countless military achievements to his name yet remained a colonel, so some dissatisfaction was understandable.
"Should we ask General Kent Weis to give an order?" the chief staff officer at the command post, a colonel, asked with a frown, "General Ji Xinghe is under our command now. He shouldn't be acting like this."
"Kent Weis?"
When Cadelin mentioned this name, there wasn't a hint of respect in his tone. He didn't even append 'General' to the name, but nobody found it strange anymore.
"Although I agree that Ji Xinghe shouldn't be so reckless, I wouldn't condone those generals who spend all their time at the South Sky Gate commanding Ji Xinghe."
