The resources promised by Tang Qiao, or rather Kent Weis, arrived at the Fifth Base at a faster pace than Ji Xinghe had anticipated after he publicly broke Tu Yuan's leg.
Of course, this had much to do with Ji Xinghe's upcoming trip to the Scarred Gorge.
These resources included not only the material resources for constructing Mountain-cutting mechas and repairing Imperial space battleships, but also the labor resources, such as mechanics, that the Fifth Base was most lacking.
There are two noteworthy points.
First, these people were from the Third Base which had been evacuated earlier. However, as the Third Base did not fall under the jurisdiction of the Dragon Continent, most of its evacuated population was not transferred to the Fifth or Sixth Bases, but to the Ninth Base and other non-Dragon Continent bases.
