The falling metal body did not deter the apes who were pursuing Ji Xinghe.
Regardless of how they looked at it, the metal body did not seem to be an attack weapon, and it fell closer to Ji Xinghe. Even if it were some peculiarly shaped offensive weapon, Ji Xinghe would be the one to die first.
So they were not scared.

They even wished for another mecha to emerge from the metal body, preferably an Ace Mech warrior from the Federation.

The Imperial Mecha charged even faster, they could clearly see it was a gigantic 'metal box'. The energy tail spurting out from the bottom and sides just before it hit the ground startled them.
