When the Mech Squadron led by Major Jackson began to change their formation, the surrounding Mech Squadron from the empire finally made their move, transforming from a dispersed encirclement into a clustered formation.
During this process, Major Jackson did not choose to break through the weak areas of the imperial Mech formation, nor did he attempt to break the standard type Mechas of the empire that were on the move.
That's because there were two Count-level Mechas from the empire watching closely. If Jackson made a move, these two Count-level imperial Mechas would inevitably follow suit.
Twenty-two federal Mechas and thirty-two imperial Mechas stood face-to-face. Because both sides were cautious, they maintained a distance of about eighty meters. Thus, the Mechas at the end of both formations seemed to disappear into the dust storm.
After the change in formation, once again, both sides fell into a silent standoff, as if waiting for something.
