Inside the Base Six, many people were waiting for the arrival of the convoy from Base Three, looking forward to meeting familiar faces again.
The surface area of the Alien Planet couldn't compare to that of Azure Star, and the area occupied by the Federation wasn't large either, but the extremely inconvenient transportation and scarce resources made it hard for acquaintances who met and grew familiar on the Alien Planet to meet again after being separated once.
There were promises of reunions on Azure Star after the war, but for some, they would never return to Azure Star. Their ashes could only be left behind on the Alien Planet, buried in desolate places becoming gradually covered by the orange-red dust, until no one could remember where they'd been laid to rest.
