"Sister, straight ahead, just phase through the wall."

Wei'er took a deep breath, gripping Aina's hand, and charged towards the solid wall in front of them. The moment they made contact with the wall, it rippled like water, enveloping and absorbing them into its surface.
Seconds later, the sisters tumbled out from the opposite wall in an embrace, rolling several times before slamming into a wall.
"Ouch."
Aina whimpered, lightly rubbing her forehead.
"Wei'er, are you okay?"
"I'm fine, how about you?"
"Not too bad, but sis, you're not very skilled with that ability. The scent is up ahead, not far, let's get moving..."
Aina stopped mid-sentence.
Her wolf ears twitched, bristling as she looked to the right.
"Enemy!"
"We've been spotted."
Three hooded figures like shadows emerged from a corner, and one of them chuckled, "Lucky for us, you managed to go so deep. Had we not had direct access, you would've breached the core engine layer."
