You saw that, didn't you, Alder?" One of my elite four, Caitlin, said as she checked out the camera at the battle stadium.
We had the news about Team Plasma's movement and Ghetsis appearance on the Battle Stadium, we were about to go there when Grimsley, also one of my elite four, suggested that we should wait for a little while, I don't know what's on his mind but we did what he said.
Team Plasma were everywhere around the city, and one battle we did focused was on Ghetsis and the other five trainers, sure, his Hydreigon was strong, but what baffled us is the appearance of the mysterious pair, along with some girl as their acquaintance.
"His Gardevoir is shiny." Caitlin stated as she stared at the light blue Gardevoir on screen.
The time they were surrounded, we got worried about them, especially the time when the Plasma grunts unleashed their attacks altogether.
By the time the smoke died out, we were shocked at the display of mega evolution in there, which is kind of mysterious because they both handled four pokemons capable of mega evolution, which is inhuman.
"What power..." Marshal, a fighting type elite four, muttered as he watched the scene.
The duo defeated Ghetsis and the grunts, but they let them get away, and the three of them walked out at the scene, leaving the other trainers speechless.
"But that is impossible, let's just say that those two mega evolved two pokemon each, it's just unbelievable!" Shauntal, a ghost type elite four, exclaimed in disbelief.
"I agree, Alder, should we let the other champions know?" Grimsley asked.
"I do agree at that suggestion, Steven might want to investigate this scene." I replied to them.
"I kind of like the mysterious boy." Caitlin stated, we sweatdropped at her.
"Caitlin, the boy's probably at his 15, you can't do that." Shauntal chuckled as she stated the fact, Caitlin just huffed and looked away.
"Contact Steven first, he needs to know this." I stated, the others nodded and got back to work.
"A mysterious pair of duo showed up, interesting."
Ash's POV
We arrived back at the Nimbasa City pokemon center, got our four pokemons healed up, and was about to head out to another place to avoid further problems when someone outside was standing.
"I assume you were the one who saved Nimbasa City from Ghetsis?" A man, wearing a cap, and has a really long hair, said, his Zorua standing on his shoulder also cried.
We sweatdropped at that and nervously laughed.
"I deeply express my gratitude in saving the city." The man bowed at us, which is kind of awkward.
"Uhh, no, no need to make that kind of move to us sir." Leaf quickly said as she raised her hands up.
"People call me N, may I take your time for awhile?" N asked.
"S-Sure." I said and the four of us walked together, we don't know where we are headed.
"As you may know, Team Plasma's having their progress in controling this region, and probably the whole world." N started.
"Why would they want to take control of a whole region by the way?" Leaf asked.
"That is because they want more power, the greed in Ghetsis' eyes is the proof, Team Plasma's plans always works, and we had a hard time stopping them." N replied to her.
"I want to save this region, I want this place to be peaceful, free from evil people who will try to ruin everything around here." N stated.
"But with their numbers, I can't do it all by myself. Anthea and Concordia were worried about my actions." N continued on.
"Anthea? Concordia?" Koharu asked.
"They are my sisters, they live in a small place just around here." N said.
"Around here? Nimbasa's pretty bi-" My words were cut off when I notice the change of atmosphere, we were just in a city before, but this place right now is somewhat a thick forest.
"Wha- How?" Leaf and Koharu asked in shock, they were also surprised that we were already in a forest.
"This place is where we live." N said and halted, in front of us is a peaceful small house, various kinds pokemons are also there.
"W-Wow." We stared at awe at our surroundings.
"Anthea, Concordia, I'm home." N stated, and with that, two ladies came out from the house and rushed towards us.
"N! We were worried abo- who are these?" Concordia asked as she noticed that N has somebody with him.
"Didn't you yourself said that we should not bring another human here?" Anthea wondered.
"I did, but they're different, they are my guests." N replied to Anthea, much to her relief.
"Okay then, I trust your instict." Anthea said.
"Come on in." N offered and the three of us went in to their house, followed by Anthea and Concordia, we noticed that the house isn't that elegant, but it's quite peaceful and nice, we also noticed a room wherein lying pokemons are there.
"We treat injured pokemons here, this is only the place where they seem safe." Concordia said, sensing our curiosity. We sighed in relief at that.
"So N, I assume our talk isn't finished yet." I said.
"Yes we are, please have a seat." N said and offered us a seat, Anthea came back with tea and placed them on the table.
"This is really important Ash and Leaf." N started again.
"Wait, we haven't introduced ourselves, how did you..." Leaf trailed off.
"I have my insticts, Koharu will also be part of this, since she's with you." At her name being mentioned, she didn't even bother asking why.
"To start off, you should know that Team Plasma's on to something bigger."
We nodded in understanding, it's his cue to continue on.
"I also had a bad feeling about this, but they will be having a project, something big that I can't bare to imagine." He explained.
"There are species called Ultra Beasts, they are located in Alola region, faraway from here, but somehow, someone did manage to open wormholes somewhere around Kanto and Johto." He continued
"Ultra Beast? How did you know about them?" I asked him out of curiosity.
"Reshiram told me." N replied.
"Reshiram?!" We three exclaimed in shock.
"Yes, lately, Reshiram had been uneasy about something, and told me her problem, that's where I knew the Ultra Beasts." N explained, we didn't expect a legendary on his arsenal.
"Reshiram is a friend of mine, but clearly not my possession, however, she insisted to be sucked by a capsule in order for no one to catch her." N stated, and yeah, N is owning her right now.
"Reshiram said that I'll find her a trainer worthy of her power." N said.
We nodded again subconsciously, still not believing that he was able to communicate to the legendary pokemon, Reshiram, a quite beautiful legendary that hasn't seen for awhile, said a book I read.
"And I ask you Ash, will you take the responsibility of having Reshiram's power, she will help you in taking down the ultra beasts." N asked, Anthea and Concordia are both on N's side.
"What?!" Leaf and Koharu exclaimed.
"Yeah, I wi- wait what?" I said, subconscious on the first part.
"You're not hearing things Ash, I want you to be Reshiram's trainer, she also mentioned that you may use her in to the upcoming tournament, but it's up to you." N explained, I was now speechless, but that worsen as he picked up an Ultra Ball and placed in on the table.
"It contains Reshiram, once you touch the ball, you'll be the one taking responsibility of her, it's her wish." N said.
"B-But wait, what do you mean about ultra beasts coming out from Kanto and Johto?" I asked.
"A larger evil organization planned this from the start, it is possible that Team Plasma's a part of this, I still don't know when they will make a move, but I'm pretty sure it'll happen one day." N replied.
'Is this what that telepathy is talking about?' I wondered.
'...soon, disaster will prevail.'
I shaked that thought for now and focused the ones that is happening right now, I stared at the Ultra Ball for awhile, and looked at N, determined.
"Alright then, I'll take responsibility, N." And with that, I touched the ultra ball, and it emitted fire for a second, but what is weird is that it isn't that hot, and before returning back to normal.
"Reshiram gladly accepted you as your trainer." N stated, Koharu and Leaf were now in awe.
"You just owned a legendary pokemon Ash." Leaf stated excitedly.
"Yeah, at the same time, as a precious friend." I replied to her and smiled, Anthea, Condordia and N also smiled at the scene.
"But what do you mean Koharu will also take part?" I asked again at N.
"Since she's with you, she also had to participate on that disaster, and to get her ready, you should train her." N suggested, Koharu sweatdropped at that, and at the same time, nervous.
"I'll protect you Koharu, no need to worry." I reassured her, she blushed at that and nodded.
"Well then, my job here is done, I think we should go now." N said and got up.
"Where to?" I asked him.
"To a place where no one will know." N replied and the three of then was about to walk out. N halted for a second.
"Let's meet ourselves at the league." N declared before walking away, a mist was in the house, and after a split second, it dispersed, and after we knew it, everybody's gone, including the injured pokemon, Leaf and Koharu were uneasy at this, but for me, it was another mystery, especially N, I stared at the Ultra Ball on my hand, and thought that I should be taking care of Reshiram, because N passed the responsibility to me, and I shouldn't let him down.
"Let's go guys, let's get out of here." I said and the three of us went out from the peaceful house, I tossed Corviknight's pokeball, Leaf tossed her Pidgeot's pokeball, the two large birds came out, me and Koharu mounted Corviknight, Leaf's on Pidgeot, and the three of us flew away from the place, planning our next destination.
Lillie's POV
We just arrived at Kanto's Viridian City, the place is quite beautiful and so peaceful, I also hear about the gym being closed for a long time due to some unknown reason.
"I hope you didn't get sick after the flight kids." my mom, Lusamine stated as she looked at Lana and Sophocles' condition.
"Th-That was a nightmare, Mrs. Aether." Sophocles managed to say as he had hard time catching his breath.
"I wasn't used to it." Lana uttered.
"Well then, shall we continue walking? It'll be a while before we arrive at Pallet Town." Mom said, they nodded and walked towards a forest that will lead back at Pallet Town.
I let out Snowy, my Alolan Vulpix, and let her walk with me as we go on the forest. We did see many pokemons that are not native in Alola.
"What do you know about Professor Oak's studies, mom?" I asked my mother.
"Lillie dear, he's a professor that is involved in wide variety of field, he's also responsible for taking care of the trainer's pokemons." My mom replied.
"But what makes you think that his works there are different from the other professors?" I asked again.
"He's the source of some other professor's researches, professors like Birch and Rowan are helping him on some particular task." My mom replied as she looked at the others who were busy sightseeing at the place.
"It'll still be awhile before we arrive at Pallet Town, how about you join them in sightseeing?" Mom suggested, I smiled and walked towards them, leaving mom and Gladion behind.
"Look Lillie, a Vileplume!" Mallow shouted at me as she told me to come closer to her, she pointed a finger towards a certain place and I saw some beautiful Vileplumes and Glooms walking together.
"Isn't Kanto fun?" Lana also arrived at the scene.
"Yes it is, Lana." I replied to her happily as we continued on sightseeing at the place.
But then we noticed someone from afar, and it looks like he's with an Arcanine, and it looks like he's feeding it with pokemon foods.
He noticed us and stopped what he was doing.
"Not to be rude, but, what are you guys doing here?" The mahogany haired boy asked as he pets his Arcanine, it's quite large for an Arcanine.
"I'm Lusamine of Alola, we are headed towards Pallet Town to meet Professor Oak." My mom introduced.
"I may not know you and your business about my grandfather, but I'll accompany you." The boy who claimed to be Professor Oak's grandson, said.
"I'm Gary by the way, Gary Oak." He introduced.
"You are Professor Oak's grandson?" Gladion asked.
"Yes, now let me accompany you, I'm heading back anyways." He said and returned back his Arcanine, we can also feel Kiawe's excitement as he saw that but we just ignored him.
"That'll be much appreciated, Gary." My mom said, he nodded and then the eight of us continued to walk on.
Five minutes have passed and then we finally got out from the place, and took a sight at the beautiful scenery of Pallet Town. It'll probably take another five minutes to walk ourselves towards Professor Oak's lab, but it'll just be fine.
As we started to walk onwards, two big figures quickly passed before us, emitting strong winds that made us stumble just a little, even for Gary.
The two large birds were flying in a fast pace and it looks like they were heading towards the lab we are also going.
"What was that?!" Mallow yelled after the two birds disappeared out of sight.
"Those are powerful birds there." Kiawe commented.
Gladion stared at the horizon, thinking about what just happened, even for me, but Gary on the other hand, just sighed.
"So they have arrived, again." Gary said and sighed.
"You know about it Gary?" Sophocles asked, to which Gary nodded in response.
"You will find out once you arrive at the lab." Gary said and then we continued to walk onwards.
...
We finally arrived at Professor Oak's lab, we were greeted by no other than Professor Oak, Mallow was so happy to finally meet him in person, and can't stop praising about him and his works, Professor Oak felt awkward about that but she soon calmed down, we were offered to get in to his lab.
"So what can I do for you Lusamine?" Professor Oak said.
"Being the president of Aether Foundation, I would also like to learn from you of ways on taking care of the pokemons on your coral." My mom said to him.
"Ah, good timing, two trainers just arrived on time, and with that being said, I was about to show you their pokemons and demonstrate how I take care of them for the two, but I do need permission from them to let us see their pokemons though, but now they have arrived, we can ask the two to show them to us." Professor Oak said and walked outside the coral.
What our eyes did see, is somewhat unbelievable.
In front of us, are the two familiar birds we come across with, I familiarized the birds, they are Corviknight and Pidgeot, but are slightly large compared to normal ones, and three figures unmounted the birds.
"Thank you Corviknight, Pidgeot, you can stroll around." The boy said and petted the two, the birds squawked and flew away.
"Ash, Leaf, Koharu, good to see you again!" The Kanto professor greeted.
"It's nice to see you too professor." The boy, I think it was Ash, replied.
The boy was probably around his 15, he has a z mark on his cheeks, together with him is a small girl, I'm assuming she's a sister of his, then another girl, also probably around her 15, has this ponytail on her side, and wears uniform.
The trio had their time with the professor, until they finally introduced each other.
"Lusamine, this are Ash and Leaf, they're siblings, and this girl right here is Koharu, Sakuragi's daughter." Professor Oak introduced.
"Sakuragi? The Galar professor?" She asked. Professor Oak nodded in response.
"Pleased to meet you, Ma'am Lusamine." They greeted and bowed.
"Ah, no need the formalities, children." She said and sweatdropped.
"I've come here to inspect about the pokemons here on Professor's coral, I assume you three are trainers, could you show us some of your pokemons?" My mom asked, me and the other gang are curious about it, since we had a sight of two majestic birds on their possession.
"Uh sure? I guess?" Ash replied and picked up four pokemons on his belt, Leaf picked five, and Koharu picked four.
"Come on out, everyone!" They yelled and then the pokeballs came out open, it revealed various pokemons. For Ash's, the four revealed an Absol, a weird looking Gardevoir, a Charizard and a Greninja, which is a pretty strong team, add up the Corviknight from before. Leaf had her Venasaur, a Galarian Rapidash, a Delphox, a Sylveon and a normal colored Gardevoir, that makes her a full party if we add up the Pidgeot she mounted a while ago. Koharu has a Galarian Ponyta, a Yamper, a Polteagiest, and a Cherrim, clearly a trainer from Galar.
"What's with that Gardevoir?!" Lana and Mallow both exclaimed at the sight of the light blue colored Gardevoir.
The trio just sweatdropped and the others decided to get a closer look at their pokemons, even Gladion, which is pretty rare for him to do that. Gary was just there standing.
"This is indeed a beautiful discovery, may we look at them for a while?" My mom asked.
"I don't really mind, my other pokemons are somewhere around here, maybe soon they'll come out." Ash replied.
"And professor, can we stay here for a while after planning where we should go next?" Ash asked the professor, and for some reason, that made me feel at ease, I don't know why.
"Of course you three can, I have vacant rooms just for you." Professor Oak stated, are they that important?"
"Thank you very much professor!" The three exclaimed happily, much to Professor Oak's delight.
And I wonder how things will go on here.
