Nathan watched as the tear rolled dowm edie's face, he suddenly felt a pang of pain somewhere. Was it his heart, probably not.
Yes, edie looked pitiful.
"pls... Help me anna" she spoke again. Nathan took a strand of her hair twirling it between his fingers.
Edie suddenly shot up from the bed enveloping Nathan in a hug.
Nathan's body went stiff. He heard her sobbing.
"are you alright edie" he asked concern vivid in his face.
"water" she spoke in an hoarse voice.
Nathan stood up, walked over to the door and spoke to someone outside the door. Few minutes later, he walked back with a cup of water.
"here" he gestured

Gulping down the water, edie suddenly came to her senses
"oh my goodness, i am sorry for what i did mr dravis" she had a blush on her cheek due to embarrassment.
"it's fine" Nathan shrugged." and pls call me Nathan. Do you need any changes to your room"
"no, it's fine mr dr..... I mean Nathan" she bit on her lower lip.
Nathan fought the urge to laugh at her cuteness.
Edie on the other hand had forgotten that she didn't put on her glasses. Immediately she remembered, she bowed her head as she went around looking for her glasses.
"is everything alright edie" he asked
"hmmm, pls did you perhaps see my glasses when you stepped into the room" shs had an innocent expression as she glanced at nathan, earning a frown from the later.
"you are in the house, do you need that" he raised a brow.

Edie along with kate were seen walking together to the bus station. A man who looked to be in his early thirties walked over to them.
"good day ladies" he bowed a little before directing his gaze to edie" are you miss edie"
Kate protective instinct suddenly kicked in as she stood in front of edie
"what do you want from her" she narrowed her gaze at the man.
"my boss would like to have a conversation with her"
"where is she" kate and edie looked around.
"over there" he pointed at a small black limo.

Sofie stone wearing a black suit was sitting in the limo when she heard a soft knock "come in" her cold voice was heard. Edie walked in as she came face to face with the female version of Nathan.
"pls have a seat" she heard the cold voice of the woman. Edie took her seat. "i am sofie" she introduced herself.
"edie" edie replied back.
"so you are the woman nathan suddenly took an interest in" she observed edie from head to toe" that guy's really something " she paused then looked Edie in the eye.
Edie on the other hand was frowning
" what do you want" edie spoke
"leave nathan"
Edie wanted to burst into laughter "and why should i do that"
"you are like a leech sticking to him. If you follow him for money then I'll pay you, just name the price"
"wow, am surprised" edie spoke sarcastically earning a look of disappointment from sofie" do you really enjoy this"

"i see you really enjoy discrimination." edie looked her straight in the eye" i and Nathan's relationship should be none of your business mrs sofie" edie spoke politely "we both like each other and that's all that matters"
