Chereads / If These Walls Could Talk 2: Brian / Chapter 64 - 64 Alyssa's Place

Chapter 64 - 64 Alyssa's Place

I pull up to the address Sarina gave me for Alyssa's place and am pleasantly surprised by the place. It's an old charming brick home, with a garage and car port and I can see the horse stables and barn off in the back of the house. I climb out of the car and knock on the front door. I'm greeted by a woman who looks similar to Alyssa.

"Hi, is Alyssa and Sarina here?" I ask.

"You must be Brian, yeah, come on in. I'm Alyssa's little sister, Amanda, by the way. They're down the hall second door on the right. " She's polite as she shakes my hand in greeting and points me in the direction I should go before heading in a different direction. I walk down the hall, hearing their noisy conversation with music on before I enter the room. I stand in the door frame watching as they fuss over David. He looks thrilled at all the attention but when he see's me his face brightens even more so and throws his arms up in the air in greeting.

"DOC! You're here! Save me, Man! These women are threatening me with a manicure and pedicure!"

I chuckle, "What's wrong with having them take care of you?"

"They want to paint my nails!" He says wide eyed.

I toss my head back laughing, as Sarina comes up and wraps her arms around my waist in greeting. I wrap my arms back around her and lay a kiss on her head, as I throw a question at Alyssa. "What color were you planning?"

Scoffing she smacks David's arm lightly, "Clear. It's just to help with the chipping and flaking. Stop being so dramatic, Davy."

David reaches for Alyssa, pulling her closer to him, "I'll show you dramatic, woman." Before laying a kiss on her lips, a deep one, but quick. When they part, she's left breathless and fanning herself.

"SO um, yeah." She says, flustered, making David puff up with pride, sending a wink my way as I nod back at him with a smirk. "Shall I show you guys the property then for the party?" Alyssa says, her voice an octave higher as her cheeks, neck and ears flush.

After showing us the area for the party she was suggesting to use, where the ground was paved with stones, smooth enough and hard enough, compacted, for David's wheel chair. It was flat enough for tables and large enough of an area for a decent amount of people.

We come across Amanda who's cleaning and trimming a dark brown horse's hooves, with white on it's rear and brown spots. The girls started talking about the different breeds and they start showing Sarina the horses they have as me and David head to the back porch.

We are just talking about the girls and the party when David leans over and quietly reveals something.

"Hey Doc, guess what happened to me earlier this week." He waggles his brows at me and looks towards the barn, where the girls are still looking at the horses.

"You're shitting me. I thought ...." I start to respond and David cuts me off.

"I know! I thought so too! But ... We were here for our date and well, things got heated mentally for me and both for her. So you know, I was going to take care of her.." He licks his lips and has me chuckling.

"Yeah, I get you."

Nodding, he scratches the back of his neck and shrugs, "Hearing her cry out my name, I felt this zap down there, I looked down and my cock was screaming trying to get out of my pants. I couldn't believe it, and when she saw it.... well, let's just say.. She was a very satisfied woman by the time I came." He says smugly. "I didn't know that I'd ever get to enjoy having an orgasm ever again. Have you ever heard of something like that?" He asks me seriously. "Alyssa said it could happen, it just depended on each individual, I just don't know how it happened."

I nod, "She would know better than I would. I'm happy for you man." I pat his back, "Who cares how or why it happened, right?"

David nods, shrugging his shoulders jovially, "Yeah, you're right." He adds quickly, "Don't say nothing to Sarina though."

I grimace, "No worries there, I don't think that is something she would care to know about anyways."

We take note of the girls heading our way, so we quickly move onto what he'd like for the party. Once the girls rejoin us, they quickly start taking notes of who David wants to invite, Alyssa and Sarina throwing out names that are added to the list as well.

Amanda offered to make hamburgers on the grill for dinner, if someone would cut up the condiments, which Sarina was happy to help while Alyssa got the grill ready. Alyssa then goes and comes back with a bucket of ice and some beers and two bottles of wine sticking out of it.

"Sorry, I only have a Pinot Grigio and a Zinfandel for wines. I don't know if you care for beer." She apologizes before setting a few glass canning jars down.

"That's quite alright, I'm fine with what ever." I say appreciating the hospitality.

"I see you are busting out the fancy glasses for your guests." An older woman with happy lines around her mouth and eyes comes walking around the corner with a man similar in age in tow.

"Mom! Dad! Hey, I didn't know you were going to stop by." Alyssa gives them a quick hug as Sarina and Amanda come out.

"Shit, I better go make two more patties." Amanda turns back around and goes back inside while Sarina places a covered tray on the table.

Alyssa then introduces me and Sarina, before they turn their attention to David.

"Mom....., Dad.....," She draws out, "you remember David." Her parents look at David, startled.

Her mother covers her mouth, "David, David McNeal. So that means you're Sarina McNeal." She points to Sarina who nods and then turns back to David. "It's been too long since these old eyes have seen you! I didn't even recognize you! Oh I feel horrible now." She bends down and gives David a hug as David hugs her back, telling her not to worry about it.

Amanda comes back out with two more burgers and goes to grill to start cooking. Their dad grabs a beer and makes his way to her and they start chit chatting while their mom starts asking Sarina what she's been up to all these years. As the burgers finish their dad comes and takes a seat and starts asking what I do for a living. I explain to him I'm a psychiatrist who has his own practice and works with the hospital and other care facilities for trauma victims.

"That must be a rough job." Their dad, James, remarks.

I nod in agreement, "It can be, but it has it's rewards too. When I know that I helped someone overcome something and learn to live their life again without their trauma weighing them down or holding them back, makes it worth continuing."

David nods, "He's excellent at his job. He could figure out how I was feeling within the first ten minutes of sitting in the room with me."

I start to shake my head, but David stops me, "Don't deny it, that is something you can take pride in, Brian, and you should."

"Thanks, David." I say humbled by his praise.

"So how did you and Sarina meet?" Their mother, Molly asks.

Me and Sarina share a glance and I inform them, "We were introduced through mutual friends. We went out for a meal and things just went from there." I say with a smile.

David chuckles, "Yeah, there's more to that story too actually. I was in the hospital when I met him and immediately liked him. I told my sister about him, telling her I wanted her to meet him, not knowing they had already met. I asked him if there was a special lady in his life and he started going on about this gorgeous woman he was hoping to start seeing. I was disappointed but figured they could still meet. So when Sarina came to visit me during his next visit, imagine my delight that I find the woman he was talking about was her!"

"Oh what a coincidence! How beautiful though, it sounds like you were meant to meet." Molly smiles widely at us, making Sarina blush as I grin at her.

Amanda whistles, "You two got it as bad as Alyssa and David do." She returns to her burger, smiling as she takes a bite.

Molly smacks her daughters arm, "Don't tease people cause they found love. I don't know why you haven't found a man to settle down with, yet."

Amanda rolls her eyes, "Because I don't want a man, mother."

Molly opens her mouth but her husband leans forward and places a hand on his wife's. "Leave her be, dear. We may not understand it, but it's her life."

I notice the exchange and realize Amanda is into women. I look at Sarina and I think she shares the same thought. That this topic of conversation should change again.

She clears her throat and asks Amanda, "So Amanda, what do you do for a living?"
