Didn't know how much time had passed before Fu Yue's voice was heard once more.
"... First of all, I respect every role. Secondly, I have never looked down on Junglers, it is the opposite. I think highly of them."
[Yueyue is holding a conference! XD]
[I am a reporter from A magazine. Mr. Yueyue, are you telling the truth? Lol]
[What you said about Junglers just a few moments ago does not match with what are you currently saying tho]
[I can imagine Yueyue being surrounded by us, reporters *rolling on the floor*]
Ignoring the senseless chat, Fu Yue meekly peeked at the private chat with 009. To his disappointment, he did not see anything.
In the end, he tiredly rubbed his face with his hands and said in a muffled voice, "Okay, I am pissed with Junglers today. That's why my words were a bit heavy and I am sorry. If you don't believe me, you can watch my stream this afternoon."
Fu Yue gave another light sigh before removing his hands to grab the mouse while another rest on the keyboard.
"That being said... Do you want to stop now?"
Fu Yue unconsciously bit his lower lip after his words fell.
At this rate, he willingly accepted the fact that this person and he had bad compatibility.
Fu Yue did not even want to think about what kind of image the other side had of him.
A grownup man who cried in public?
A game anchor who creates ambiguous relationships with him just for his content?
Someone with a short temper?
Someone who is looking down on Junglers thinking that he, himself is the greatest player alive?
The more Fu Yue thought the more laughable he felt.
Fortunately... The two are not acquainted in real life...
Just as Fu Yue thought of cutting contact with 009, the other party finally responded.
[Number 009: There are still two games left.]
Fu Yue was momentarily stunned. Before he even realized it himself, a big smile had already formed on his face as his voice failed to hide his uncontrollable excitement.
"Okay!"
Finally resurrecting from the dead, Fu Yue hurriedly queued up for another match.
Wanting to lighten the atmosphere, Fu Yue slightly cleared his throat, "To be honest, my favorite pro player is from the Jungler role."
[Number 009: Who?]
Seeing that the other side took an interest in this topic, Fu Yue cheerfully replied, "Silence from TM!"
His thoughts of bringing up Silence out of nowhere were simple. 009 played Jungler so he was or less a fan of Silence, right?
Unfortunately, 009 seemed to be a man who never read his script and instead asked, "Why?"
Fu Yue who had the intention of finding a common interest abruptly stepped on a brake after seeing this unexpected question.
Uh oh... Did he not like Silence and was a fan of someone else?
Fu Yue flattened his mouth into a straight line fearing that he had stepped on another landmine.
Nevertheless, he did not want to lie about not liking Silence simply because the other party did not like him.
Earlier today, he found a lot of montage videos about Silence and binge-watched them.
Unlike his name, Silence was always active on the map. He was a Jungler who did not like to waste time.
His hero pool was extremely deep and he could adapt to any playstyle.
A Jungler who wanted his team to win rather than putting himself in the spotlight. That was what Fu Yue thought of Silence.
Another thing that Fu Yue admired about Silence was how he consistently kept his team in the game by stealing objectives during crucial moments numerous times.
No matter how far he was behind, no one dared to underestimate him. Therefore, it was funny how the team who was leading in gold dared not take the objectives unless they managed to kill Silence first.
Fu Yue, himself was an aggressive Mid laner. In the past, he got scolded by his coach and teammates a lot for playing too hot-headed.
Frankly speaking, he did not think that he was over-extending and greedy for fights.
He just took risks in return for huge gains.
All you needed to do was to trust him and take the risks.
In the beginning, Fu Yue did not consider TM because their situation for the next season was a bit complicated.
If rumors regarding Xieyu's departure were true then their new starting Mid laner would be put under a lot of pressure.
Xieyu was a perfect example of this scenario. After all, the moment Xieyu joined TM, it coincided with their continuous defeats.
TM had a huge fanbase so there were a lot of complaints saying that Xieyu jinxed TM and they should sign with another popular Mid laner.
Some even found faults with his gender saying that a mediocre B like Xieyu couldn't keep up with a dominant A like Silence.
It got worse when BlackLotus who was also a B joined the team this season.
Compared with an A, Xieyu had an excuse to say that it was obvious not to play as well as him since he was a B but once compared with another B, he had nothing to say.
BlackLotus albeit being a Beta, he was as terrifying as any other Alphas out there.
His appearance and academic performance stood out even more, it was as if he was openly refuting Xieyu's claims saying that gender had nothing to do with one's ability.
Due to this, there were a lot of rumors saying that the two did not get along which was one of the main reasons why TM fell short this year.
Fu Yue was no stranger to this industry. He knew that underneath the surface it was not as calm as it appeared.
Everyone seemed to get along well with each other while playing games. However, in private, it might not be the case at all.
It was still unclear how TM's players got along with each other but that was not something he was worrying about.
To regain their reputation of being top two powerhouses in their region, TM would likely look for a well-known Mid laner to sign with for the next season.
Therefore, Fu Yue was not convinced that they would risk it on him, a mere game anchor who recently started to play TOBH.
So no matter how much he would like Silence to be his Jungler, he was still leaning toward Yuelan in the end.
"Match Found!"
Fu Yue shifted his attention to the game. He replied in a firm voice, "Silence is my ideal Jungler."
[Yueyue, how dare you talk about another Jungler in front of your Jungler?! I remember raising you better than this?!]
[Even though Silence God is admittedly hard (impossible) to be compared with and his looks are even more handsome than his playstyle, Gege is still handsome!]
[Yeah, I will stand on the side of Gege! *mutter* Silence God is too high to reach anyway]
[I did not expect Silence to be a third wheel in this relationship at all lol]
[The drama is getting better 233]
[A/N: 233: Laugh out loud, pounding on the floor.]
Fu Yue noticed that these people were acting up again. He promptly stopped them, "You guys want me to get drowned in spits by Silence's fans?"
Mind you, Silence had such a godly face so it was inevitable that he had a lot of girlfriend and wife powder unlike him who was crammed with mom powder for some odd reason!
Being linked in a romantic relationship with Silence, Fu Yue did not dare wear this hat.
Thankfully, his water friends albeit weird were good so they realized their mistakes and collectively stopped pushing this topic.
Fu Yue secretly heaved a sigh in relief. He shifted his gaze to the game only to freeze upon seeing his assigned position.
A Top laner...
[Buwahahha, he has such a high win rate in the Fill role that the game is abusing it and keeps giving him another role! Lol]
[The pair of Mandarin ducks finally got separated by the game. One goes to the Top lane while another is still stuck being an ADC!]
[Hahahha, they are miles apart!]
[It might take them half an hour to be able to meet each other again XD]
The corner of Fu Yue's lips twitched fiercely at this cruel arrangement even though they both queued together.
[ADC: Li?]
Fu Yue temporarily pushed his dissatisfaction away, "Grab Li for me, thanks."
This time, they were on the blue side and 009 was on the first floor so it was easier for him to grab Li who was fortunately not banned.
[Wow, are you playing Li in the Top lane?]
Fu Yue decided not to find fault with his viewers and lightly grinned, "Right, is this the first time you guys see me playing a melee champ?"
[I thought you only liked to play range champs]
"I indeed prefer playing range but the fighter is also fun to play."
Drafts need to be creative otherwise their strategies could be easily countered by the enemy teams.
Fu Yue did not always stay in the backline. He also liked to be a front-liner for his team while taking all the hits for his Carries.
Some heroes required fast hand speed and reaction so not all players could casually play them.
Li was one of them. He was a fighter and a game-changer. If done right, even your crush would be impressed by you.
[Q]: Li throws a wind blade toward his target with his right punch dealing physical damage upon hit. If landed, this ability can be recast in the next three seconds dashing to the hit target and dealing damage based on their missing health.
[W]: Li can dash to any allies or jungle monsters. If the ally was a champion then both he and his ally would gain a shield to block any damage. This ability can be recast in the next three seconds and Li will gain life steal with his next basic attacks and spells.
[E]: Li channels his inner energy to create an aura causing magic damage to the nearby enemies and inflicting them with a wind mark. Upon recasting this ability within the next three seconds, those who have wind marks will be slowed for four seconds. The slow will be decreased as time passes.
[R]: Li kicks an enemy knocking them in the direction he is facing. If the hit target collides with another enemy champion (s), the collided champion (s) will be briefly knocked into the air for 1.7 seconds.
[P]: After Li uses his ability, his next two basic attacks will gain movement speed and give him energy.
[Heh, he is trying to show off to his boyfriend]
[What are you? A peacock? Lol]
[Between your boyfriend and Silence, which one is more handsome?]
Fu Yue was close to puking blood.
I am wrong to forgive them for what they've done to me!
Fu Yue softly whispered, "You guys, can you be civilized for once?"
[Did we say anything wrong?]
[No idea *shrug*]
[Didn't you say that he is your friend? Then it is only right to call him your Boyfriend xd]
[Say, you still haven't answered my question! Which one would you choose? Him or Silence?]
With this question, Fu Yue was caught between a rock and a hard place. He couldn't either ignore or answer...
Thankfully, it was almost his turn to lock in the champ. Pretending to be occupied, Fu Yue asked, "009, which one do you want?"
[ADC]: K.
[Wow, we are going to get K's treats twice a day from two different players?!]
[Don't change the topic!]
Fu Yue couldn't help but massage his temples. He could get over it and choose Silence saying that he was a pro player so who wouldn't want to have him as their Jungler?
However, he did not want to hurt 009's feelings by saying so...
"Ahem... 009, do you think you are as good as Silence?"
Fu Yue internally praised himself for his quick wit.
Now he just needs to wait for 009 to say no-
[ADC]: Should be.
Fu Yue: "(╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻" Follow the fucking script!
[Wow, the confidence ʘwʘ]
[What a chad! ʘwʘ]
While Fu Yue was feeling increasingly flustered at 009's skip card, he was immediately hit with another reverse uno card.
[ADC]: And you?
Fu Yue: "..."
[ He lifts the stone only to drop it on his own feet!]
[A/N: Want to harm another person, but harm himself instead.]
