Her clothes had dried by now and she was just wearing her nightgown and shorts. He could feel her back through the thin t-shirt fabric. He pulled her closer to his chest and brought his lips closer to hers. First, he licked the juice from her lips.
Amber was surprised and let out a soft moan. This encouraged Nick and he started to suck her lips. Amber had never dreamed of such a gorgeous man kissing her in a jungle. It was too good to be true. She thought, 'If this is a dream I might as well enjoy it.' She pushed her tongue forward and started to suck his lips.
Nick got excited and started to walk her backward into his cave towards the fur rug. Amber felt the fur beneath her as Nick laid her down. Her eyes widened and she pushed on his chest. She wasn't ready to lose her virginity, not even in a dream!
Nick noticed her behavior change and broke the kiss. He calmed himself down and asked, "What's wrong?" Amber told him, "Let's slow down. I don't even know your name!" Nick chuckled and responded, "My name is Nick. We can take our time. We have the rest of our lives to get to know each other." Amber replied, "OK Nick, my name is Amber."
Nick loved hearing his name come from his mate's mouth. She had such delicious lips. He wanted another taste but didn't want to scare her. He slowly backed away and went to pick up the wolf he brought home earlier.
Amber calmed her racing heart and sat up. She thought, what are these beastmen doing to me? My poor virgin heart can't handle much more! She liked the kiss but was scared to do anything else. She was glad that Nick was being a gentleman.
Nick had gutted and cleaned the wolf. He stuck a thick branch through the wolf meat and placed it over a fire. Amber told him, "I had some meat earlier and I'm not too hungry now." Nick looked at her and suggested, "You should eat more. It will give you more energy."
Amber thought 'I can't wolf down any more of that dry barbecued meat! If I'm going to eat more meat, it should at least be seasoned.' She brought the herbs she had picked earlier to Nick and asked, "I picked these earlier. Can you add them to the meat while it cooks?"
Nick looked at his mate and then at the leaves and things she had in her hands. He had never added anything to his meat. He would use different types of wood to create different flavors and different types of animals tasted differently. He asked, "What are those? They smell strong like medicine." Amber thought about it. Herbs could be used for some medicines.
Her grandmother had an herb garden and was kind of like the pharmacist of the family. If you told her your symptoms, she would tell you which herb to use and how. For example, if you told her, you had a stomachache, she would recommend chewing on some mint leaves. It worked!
She thought he must not know how to use seasonings. She explained, "They can be used for medicine, but if you crush them and rub them on the meat while it cooks the meat will taste better and be juicier."
Nick thought about it and decided he would try it first to make his female happy. He took the herbs from his female and smiled at her. He crushed them together and rubbed them on the meat.
He smelled a delicious aroma coming from the seasoned meat that he had never smelled before! He started to drool and couldn't wait to try it. It smelled so good! He was so lucky! He found a beautiful female that was also good at making meat smell better. He could only imagine how it would taste.
Once the meat was roasted, he removed it from the fire and tore off a piece. He ate a piece to test it and make sure the medicine was safe for Amber to eat. When he tasted the seasoned meat, his eyes widened in surprise.
He never knew medicine could make meat taste so delicious! He quickly ate the rest of his piece and tore off another one for Amber. He placed it on a large leaf and handed it to her. She thanked him and tried it. She thought, 'Not bad.' She had tried a better barbecue back home, but this was an improvement on the unflavored dry meat she got from Tony earlier.
She wasn't too hungry and thought she wasn't going to finish it. She took another bite and another until it was all gone. She must have been hungrier than she thought! Nick offered her another piece of meat, but she shook her head and responded, "I'm full. You can have the rest or save it for later."
Nick wasn't about to waste the delicious meat and beastmen could eat an entire prey all by themselves. He asked, "Are you sure? I can always get more for later." Amber nodded and reassured him, "I'm sure. It was better than Tony's meat, so I already ate more than I thought I would." Nick was happy that she liked his meat better than Tony's.
Now that he had kissed her, he felt better and more possessive of her. He would have to put Tony in his place when he showed up again. He was the first mate, and he would keep the others in line. For now, he would enjoy his mate's invention. He finished the rest of the meat quickly and went to wash up before bed.
He thought about bringing Amber but didn't want her to bathe in front of others. He remembered how she looked when they first met with her wet hair and clothes that clung to her body. He would not allow others to see her or all the rest of the single males in the village would be lining up to woo his mate! No, he would keep her hidden in his cave as much as possible.
He cleaned himself quickly and brought some water back for Amber in a large stone bowl. He placed it down in front of Amber and told her, "You can wash up here and I will make a bigger tub for you to bathe in tomorrow. It is already getting dark, so we should get ready to sleep."
Amber washed her hands and face with the water and went into the cave. She noticed the fur rugs and no bed. She thought, 'Where am I going to sleep?' Nick went towards the fur rugs and lay down. He motioned for Amber to lie next to him. She hesitantly went to the fur bed. She had never slept next to a man. All she could think about was their kiss from earlier.
She was shy and started to blush again. She lay as far away as possible on the fur rug, but Nick pulled her closer to his chest. He explained, "It gets cold at night. I will keep you warm." She noticed how much warmer he was than her and she kept quiet. She didn't have any blankets to keep her warm, so she would only have to let him hug her.
She thought about her sister and tried to imagine she was back home in her waterbed next to her sister. She snuggled in closer and closed her eyes. Within a few minutes, she was asleep and breathing slightly louder. Nick inhaled his female's sweet scent and calmed himself. It was so nice to sleep next to his mate! He watched her sleep for a little while before he fell asleep as well.
Nick was dreaming about their first kiss and the delicious meat he ate! He was hoping they could do more things together very soon! He had the best sleep in his whole life with his mate snuggled in his arms. Her breath on his chest tickled a little, but it reassured him that she was there! He still couldn't believe how lucky he was to find her earlier in the day.
He dreamed about their future together. He wanted to mate with her and have her give birth to a litter of cubs for him. He wanted to spend the rest of their lives together. He dreamed of his beautiful mate laughing and growing old with him.
Soon he didn't hear her breathing anymore and he started to panic. His eyes opened wide, and he looked down. His beautiful mate was gone!
He got up and went to look for her. She couldn't have gone far away. He was a light sleeper, and he woke up the second he felt she was no longer breathing on him. He listened but didn't hear any footsteps or breathing other than his own.
His heart started to race as he thought about what might have happened. She might have been taken away from him by some sneaky male!
