Alarmed, Lev approached her, "No, it's not because of that."
"I know," Ilyana sighed, feeling guilty that she had let her own emotions run before herself but Lev took her sigh as her being tired of him.
He wrung his hands and looked into her eyes. His green gaze seemed to be holding worries as well as fear. He uttered, "I do want to tell you my past but honestly, I would rather not tell you anything about it."
Ilyana tried to understand him and nodded her head, "I know, I know that our past isn't related to our future and how knowing your past shouldn't affect us now. But I would like to know you as a person and to do that, I have to learn your past too. I have always wanted to ask but I didn't think it was the time yet. So know this, while I want to know about your pasts and what lead you into being so accustomed to blood, I won't force you and I will wait for your decision to feel comfortable in telling me all about it."
