Uncle Barnsley didn't replied at once. He seemed to be thinking about it and finally at a slow response he added his reply.
"Shock," uncle Barnsley confessed. He still recalled it like any other night, except that day he almost died from shock after finding out his beloved niece was involved in an accident when she was barely fifteen.
The image of Ilyana's small body placed in the hospital bed while blood covered almost her entire figure was enough to send him to god's hand in a second but what surprised him more was the after effect of that accident. The fact that no one was on Ilyana's side except him, her sisters, and her mother who only show her support passively, no one else wanted to help Ilyana or to protect a mistake that a child had made by trusting someone a little too much than she should.
